    Do not stay here! This used to be my go to hotel, but no more. I did not receive my folio upon check out and called no less than 10 time to request a copy, which I never received. The front desk was rude and acted like I was a bother when I called. On a recent trip I had to drive to the hotel and get a copy of my folio. No apology, no "I'm sorry for the trouble, nothing". When I said I would never stay there again, the front desk clerk said "ok, thank you".

    Stayed here 2 nights so we could tour San Francisco and be close to SFO. This hotel is so unique. Love the decor and the working record player that was in our room. The "old smell" in the halls is not noticeable in our actual room, thank goodness. We've been in Marriots for the last 5 days so to arrive at such a unique hotel was refreshing. They renovated the correct way. Some places just slap a new coat of paint and call it renovated. But not the Dylan. The decor is stylish, functional, and unique. Our queen beds were so comfortable and their pillows worked for me which is rare since I sleep on my side. The place is quiet which was a surprise. Definitely would stay here again.

    Room Condition and Unprofessional Staff Experience at Dylan Hotel San Francisco

    The room had a strong old/moldy odor upon entry. When we politely asked about it, the front desk staff became defensive and even suggested we move to the Hilton next door if we wanted "full service." The experience did not match the property description or the high rating shown online.

    Had our room cancelled. Only found out when we arrived at 10 PM with our 3 year old.No email notice, no voicemail telling us about it.

    Comfortable Gem of a Hotel near SFO

    We loved this hotel, and the neighborhood around it! Everything in the simple but very comfortable room was geared to making our stay easy. There were ample reading lights by the bed, hooks for towels, sheets with blankets (as opposed to the all-in-one comforters that aren't really comfortable), friendly and helpful staff, surfaces for bags and sundries, closet hangars, and a nice shower. We stayed after landing at the San Francisco Airport a few times on our most recent trip; even though there was convenient transportation into the city (the BART was a 5 minute walk), we stayed in Millbrae and enjoyed the restaurants in the area.
