    Nice stay but disappointing end

    We had all good things to say until they wouldn’t let the kids swim after check-out. Most hotels allow guests to use their facilities for the entire day of check-out. Other than that, we enjoyed the hotel. It was clean, had a decent complimentary breakfast, had delicious water in the lobby and a nice evening tea service. The hot tub looked dirty, so we didn’t use it, but the pool and pool deck were nice. The sliding shower door wouldn’t stay shut. Beds were comfortable. There was a nice little area with a few different fast food restaurants across the street. Overall, we did like the hotel.     Near airport and convention center, fine for a night.

    Clean rooms, nice outdoor area with pool and hot tub. Can get a little crowded with families on the weekends. The breakfast was ok - eggs, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, not much fruit. The rooms are not completely sound-proof and it was a bit noisy at night and in the early morning with hallway noise and being able to hear the people in the next room watching tv. Overall a pretty decent hotel, it was nice to have various food options for dinner a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

    The Hotel is Fine, DO NOT charge your EV in the parking lot

    We stayed here for a hockey tournament and it worked great. It's a good hotel with all the typical Element amenities, including breakfast. The staff were friendly.The big issue is that the EV charge stations are owned by a third party and they charge you a station fee of $4 per hour so if you charge your EV overnight, you will be charged about $50 in addition to the fee for electricity. This station fee is not posted on the machines and is not readily visible n the app. BEWARE. You are better off charging your car somewhere else.

    I’ve just spent two weeks at the Element. The hotel is great. Clean and new. Facilities are excellent. Staff are welcoming on reception and Jesus on the bar. RoomsSelf contained unit with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Bed is comfortable. Black out blinds. I wasn’t disturbed by the planes at San Jose airport. Shower is good- no conditioner provided so take your own. Electric toothbrush not compatible with EU chargers so take an adapter or a manual toothbrush. Couldn’t get the coffee machine to work but there’s take out 24/7 in the lobby. BreakfastPlentiful. Varies slightly at the weekend. Sufficient. Pool and jacuzziDoesn’t get the sun after 6pm. Jacuzzi broke on our second week. GymOk. Enough. Laundry$5 per wash. You can buy detergent etc from reception. 30min wash 45min dry. Off siteNo restaurant. There are a few take out joints in the lot- Starbucks, bagel shop, teriyaki take out, habit burger and mendocino farm.

    Wheelchair-accessible room was great except for airplane noise on one of two days

    Wheelchair-accessible room with two queen beds and a bathtub (room 142) was set up very well. I could get around easily in the room and the bathroom. Pros: -comfortable bed-couch with small table-blackout shades-kitchenette-shower bench that you can attach to the side of the bathtub if needed-free breakfast (didn't check this out myself)-helpful and friendly front desk staff-good soundproofing in regard to highway traffic-location is close to Santa Clara University, restaurants, and Whole Foods-I really liked the bar soap in the room.-pool-laundry areaCons:-noise from people partying and repeatedly letting the door slam shut across the hallway (fortunately, this died down around 10:30-11:00pm)-noise from airplanes (oddly, it started a little after 6:00am on Monday and continued consistently until I left around 8:30am, but I didn't hear planes on Tuesday morning) I had to wake up early anyway, but if I had planned to sleep later this would not have been possible because it was so loud.-sharp knives but no cutting board-paid parking I would only plan to stay here again if I was planning to wake up early due to concerns about airplane noise.
