    A Good Hotel

    rating25 May 2026

We have stayed here a few times and we know what to expect. Service is good and the hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms aren't large but are comfortable and provide and mini refrigerator and microwave. Continental breakfast is included and provided daily and does include hot items (eggs, bacon, waffles, etc.). The location is good as there are stores and eateries within walking distance. The only negative is the water pressure for the shower is really bad. Like if you wash your hair, it will take a while for you to wash the shampoo out. They definitely need to improve this. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Consistently a quality experience - regularly stay here throughout the year for work travel

    rating23 Oct 2025

I stay at this Hampton Inn fairly often for work travel. The property is very well-maintained, and the staff - especially Joey - are quite attentive and helpful. Any potential challenges (for example, I arrived once to very little shampoo in the bathroom) are very, very quickly remedied (as in, please hold for five minutes while someone both gives you a general answer and estimated time of completion) and I've been able to navigate everything from last-minute scheduling challenges due to delayed flights to ample parking on-site (not having to pay for parking in the area is also a bonus). It is also a property that is clearly constantly striving to get better. Over the course of the past year, where I've stayed at least once every other month for 1-2 nights, I've noticed improvements in the quality and consistency of their wifi, ease with signing into Netflix on in-room TVs, and have - somehow - never had any issues with digital keys, check-in, or check-out. I appreciate quality and consistency, especially at this price point. I'll be back again soon.

Better than some recent reviews suggest in my opinion

    rating19 Sept 2024

We stayed here just one night. We did have a minor issue on checking in which was quickly resolved and also had to ask for our complimentary water (as Hilton Honors members) instead of being offered them. The hotel was clean, maybe a bit worn in places, but the room was satisfactory and the included breakfast was good.

Poorly maintained and mediocre Hilton property

    rating20 Jul 2024

We stayed here one night in late June and another three nights in July. For the July trip, we arrived for check-in at 2am and were fortunate that they didn't close bookings for the night. We discovered that if that had happened, they would have considered us a 'no show' and would have charged us for the room, but not allowed us to stay there that night. This is what the woman at the front desk explained when I made a comment like, "Needing to confirm an after 6pm arrival is a thing of the past, right?" I'm super glad we didn't have to find out. Thankfully she said she usually waits until about 4am to close down each night's bookings! The first room we were given had a broken shade that you couldn't operate, which was all bunched up. We called down and she brought us a key to a different room. In the next room we discovered a large, gross stain in the middle of the carpet in front of the fridge. We had no idea what it was and tried not to imagine! We noticed the bottom dresser drawer had been left open and closed it only to find that the drawer kept rolling open on its own. The entire stay we put our small cooler in front of it to hold it closed. Even though this hotel is relatively new, it is very poorly maintained. For example, the shower had grime in the corners and the shower head had build up where it hadn't been cleaned very well. The microwave door looked like it had been melted (however, the microwave still worked fine). The room is fairly dim, too. Would be nice to have more lighting. Usually, we look forward to coming back to our hotel room at the end of a long day, but this room was a bit dark and dingy so we didn't like coming back to it. We did like the large TV with Netflix and YouTube. That part was great! Also, the location is nice as it's near several restaurants and stores. Staff were okay, but nothing spectacular. One evening I went to the front desk to ask a question. Three young staff were laughing and talking to each other with their backs to me. I quietly waited for someone to see me and offer assistance. A couple of them looked at me and proceeded to ignore me. The third person was fairly friendly, but it felt like I was imposing on them to ask a quick question. Next time we are in this area, we may check into some other options. For the price you pay per night, this place is mediocre.

Not one of the better Hamptons

    rating22 Jun 2024

I stayed here because of its specific location. And, I felt safe walking around this neighborhood because there are plenty of stores, restaurants, traffic and sidewalks. Besides location, the other positives were the gym, which was pretty well equipped for a Hampton, and the availability of a microwave and mini-fridge in the room. However, the room was not clean--there was pet hair all along the carpeting where it met the wall and bedframe. Also, the sheets did not fit the bed (fitted sheet too small). I could hear my neighbors, who were not loud, as if they were in my room. Lastly, the air conditioning unit is distractingly loud. If you are a light sleeper, you'll have to choose between A/C and sleep. There is also a lack of customer care. When I checked in, the woman at the front desk did not look up from her phone or greet me for about a minute, then explained she was texting someone to get a guest issue resolved. At least acknowledge the presence of a customer in front of you and say, "Hello, I'll be with you in a minute," and explain why.Second, I took a breakfast bag to go on my last day, and the orange in the bag was mushy, moldy and green. I did not discover this until I was at the airport. I wish that TSA had pulled me aside to alert me to the "liquid." IMO, there is no way the staff who packaged the breakfasts could have missed this.
