    Stayed here for three nights for a work trip. Room had non functioning AC (the unit turned on, but temperature could not be adjusted therefore it couldn't cool the room). Room was too warm to sleep. I asked front desk for help every morning and every evening I was there. Twice they said maintenance had checked and that it was "working properly", giving no indication that they understood what was wrong. They offered no apologies, no option to switch rooms / hotels, and generally as little engagement as humanly possible. My last night, I looked up the technical manual and fixed it myself, which took ~5 minutes. The only thing I wanted from this room was the ability to get a good night's sleep, and that's the one thing I couldn't get.Other than that, room was clean. Layout was weird (you enter the room through the bathroom for some reason). Showers had like 2-in-1 shampoo / body wash. Overall was giving "designed by a straight guy" but had all the basic amenities.Location is great (downtown). But again, the customer service was absolutely terrible. If you need help with anything during your stay, you are out of luck.     Checked out early: No heat, thin walls, and subpar cleanliness

    I was beyond dissatisfied with my stay due to several significant failures in room quality and comfort, which ultimately forced me to check out early. My rating is based on the following:Inoperable Heating: The heating system did not work, leaving the room uncomfortably cold.Subpar Cleanliness: The bathroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard upon arrival.Poor Sound Insulation: The walls were incredibly thin. I could hear everything occurring in the neighboring room, which made for a loud and disruptive environment.Impractical Workspace: The desk is far too small to be functional. It is essentially wasted space that makes the room unsuitable for any business-related tasks.Because the room failed to provide basic warmth, hygiene, privacy, or a viable workspace, I chose to truncate my stay.     Great little hotel!

    We had a great stay! The staff was very pleasant. Our room was small, but it was clean and had everything we needed. We both thought the bed/pillows were incredibly comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that, although we didn't bring our dogs this time, we normally travel with them. You say you're a pet-friendly hotel, but there's nowhere for dogs to relieve themselves. Our daughter is a collegiate softball player, so we come down a lot between Feb & May. We would stay at your hotel every time, but for the pet reason, we can't. Overall, great stay and we'd highly recommend.     Well located with great staff

    The hotel is very central close to the caltrain station, restaurants, shops, bars, pharmacy and Stanford university. Breakfast is very small but included in the room fee what is a plus. Another plus was a happy hour on Monday with complimentary wine from 5-6pm. Loved it! Staff is fantastic and helpfull is every way. The only weird thing was my room with no bathroom door on the second floor. The staff helped me to moce to another room in the first floor with barhroom door (a MUST for me).     loud music from nearby bar on saturday night kept me awake. otherwise nice hotel and great location. but loud thumping bass is a big problem.
