    Gross! I would wholeheartedly NOT recommend this hotel. The first room we were in was a double queen. It smelled like pee so we turned on the ac unit to try and move the air around and air it out and it made a terrible grinding noise. None of the charging outlets on the bedside tables worked…they were all loose and coming out of the sockets. There was literally a cutout of the blackout curtains making it impossible to darken the room. We asked to switch rooms but they had no more double rooms left. They gave us 2 single queens rooms and had to be charged for an additional room. Of course, it was a Saturday night and there was no manager available to talk to. The rooms are dirty and run down. The second room we got moved to had blood stains on the sheets. There was a wall outlet in the hall that was obviously burned and had carpet actually touching the outlet. I would never stay here again.

    The location of the property is prime. Close to stores/shopping/mainroads. The hotel itself is very nicely maintained and reasonably priced. The room was neat, clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel staff was very courteous. The breakfast served was complimentary and convenient. The front desk staff (Oscar, Miguel, etc) were very courteous, attentive and helpful. Overall I had a very positive and comfortable stay and will consider returning back for future stays especially long term stays. Mountain view is a happening place, in the heart of silicon valley. I have lived in the bay area in several of the cities -- sunnyvale, cupertino, san jose, moutain view in the past and my experience of moutain view -- especially the public parks, commuity activities, weather, shopping etc are wonderful. Hotel Vue was a great place to stay and will return again surely.

    Great Location and Friendly Staff, but Room for Improvement

    Pros: The staff is attentive and friendly, with Oscar at reception standing out for making the stay particularly enjoyable. The location is convenient, being close to the freeway and within walking distance of downtown Mountain View, which offers a variety of restaurants, bars. The property provides free onsite parking (back and front). Note: No microwave in the Deluxe Queen room.Cons: There are cleanliness concerns, including dusty surfaces, dirty carpets, and a general lack of maintenance. The furnishings and decor are outdated, with worn mattresses, pillows, and peeling paint. Breakfast options are very limited. The room layout is awkward and the space feels small, thin walls and noise disturbances.

    Clean! Comfortable!! Very hospitable! Small kit appliances in room! Would recommend this for any Stanford area stay!! We had a conference in the area. Very accommodating. Thank you Miguel!!     Our stay was really great, Miguel at the front desk made our check in really special. Very understanding of customer needs. We are definitely coming back. Love the in and out nearby. Although the elevator could be better. And the parking spaces are tight.
