    this hotel is clean, quiet, and the rooms are so cute. i love staying here! i want to give a special shoutout to the women who work at the front desk though. they are all SO sweet, helpful, and just make you feel very welcome. as a woman who traveling alone, feeling safe is a top priority and i definitely feel safe here. especially with the kindest women working!! thank you!!❤️ Guest Experience Team, Owner at Hotel Zico, responded to this review Hannah, it means a lot that you shared this.     I think the hidden gem of this place are the meals cooked by bona fide Grandmas! No matter how much I may purchase at other places, there's nothing like stopping in, grabbing a coffee, getting a meal for breakfast & chatting it up with the cook! I love it!     We had to wait several hours after the check-in time for our room because rooms were not cleaned yet. Some of the front office staff were curt, bordering on surly. The hotel is understaffed and in dire need of upgrades. The blinds and the toilet paper holder in our room were broken, we were told that because of staff shortages they only clean the rooms every three days. After 3 days we had to ask for fresh towels and our room was finally cleaned after 6:30 pm on the third day! This our third time staying at this hotel and it will be the last.

    Awesome Xperience! Great location, terrific staff and extremely well managed. Rooms are clean. and coffee flows until 2pm. Breakfast is really nice. Best of all Humming birds come in to bathe at fountain every morning at 7am and there is a red tail hawk nest across the parking lot. Just super fun all the way around. Highly recommend
