This hotel is conveniently located in beautiful downtown San Jose, in the middle of the South Bay area, about 900 m from the restaurants in San Pedro Square. San Jose airport is roughly 5 km away.

    As we walked in the door we were greeted. Didn't know about the $45 parking per night. We picked this Hyatt Place because for the passed year we have been staying at Hyatt Place Dublin because my wife has been having chemotherapy as Stanford twice a month and we stay for two night at a time and they have been great. The rooms the beds are very comfortable and for my wife going through chemo she needs comfort. That is why I booked Hyatt place San Jose for a procedure my wife needed at Stanford San Jose. As we walked in room 601 the carpet was so stained and looked very dirty. The bed was as hard as a rock they advertised pillow top mattress. I looked at the mattress to flip it to see if it would be softer I saw big stain on the bed skirt ant the biggest shock was hiw old the mattress was 12/06 20 years old. Which I checked hotels change the mattress every 3 to 7 years . Very bad stay will not go there again. Have pictures of the carpet stain the mattress tag and the bed skirt.     Location was great for event across the street. Staff was super friendly and helpful. For noise, there was a noise machine provided in the room. We sleep with noise machines at home, so it was perfect. Jets landing at SJC fly pretty close to the hotel and we could hear doors slamming in the hallway. Bed was on the firmer side to what we are used to.
