    Ill post photos for this "modern" hotelIf you enjoy front desk people who just lie.Breakfast with no signage of whats being served.Broken elevators.Pools that aupposedly are open but arent.Rooms and facilities that are trashed then stay.Dont care what price the room is .take pride in what you are offering

    Serious Safety Issue – Elderly Guests Placed on 3rd Floor with No Working Elevators

    My parents (both over 80) checked into the La Quinta in Fremont, CA today and had a very concerning experience.At check-in, they specifically requested a ground-floor room but were told there wasn't one and they could use the elevator. After getting their room assignment on the third floor, they discovered that both elevators in the hotel were completely out of service, with signage posted.This meant they had to carry their belongings up three flights of stairs. My father has a heart condition and was physically strained by this. They were not able to bring all of their luggage up.When they asked the manager on duty (Shawn McGuire) for assistance, they were refused help, despite explaining their age and health concerns. The manager’s response was dismissive and inappropriate. As a result, my elderly parents are now stuck on the third floor of a hotel with no working elevators and without full access to their belongings.This is not just poor service—it is a serious safety and accessibility issue. Guests, especially elderly ones, should not be placed in this situation, nor should requests for basic assistance be denied. I would strongly encourage the hotel to address both the elevator situation and staff training immediately.

    The overall experience is good specially the size of the room and its cleanliness. However, it was unexpected to deal with the room keys which aren’t working that made me to return to the Frontdesk 3x until they make use of their master key just to open my Room 431 then transferred to 131.
