The lightbulbs in all three lamps were about 25-40: watts at the most. Just don’t understand how this is saving any money or energy. Felt great as it was an easy check in & easy check out. Ran to the lobby to use their fancy coffee machine, even though they supplied coffee in the rooms. Every detail was thought of. Also it wasn’t an arm & a leg like many places in the area. If you are going for the sights in the area & aren’t staying in the room for other than breakfast and sleeping this is the place for you! Nice place to stay that's half the price of the neighboring hotels. Lots of good things for the guests: The TV remote control had been sanitized and was in a plastic sleeve. Tons of power outlets to charge the electronics-- by the sides of both beds, on the front of the desk, and on the desk lamp. Two sided shower curtain. Nice buffet breakfast, included hard boiled eggs and a tasty chocolate muffin.Only problems? Because of proximity to El Camino Real, it's a bit noisy. And the windows had shutters instead of curtains. So bring some ear plugs and an eye mask, and you'll be all set. One of the best!!

One of the most welcoming and comfortable places I've stayed. Very clean! The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, as well! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! My sister had surgery at Stanford, so I was already emotional. It was such a pleasure to come 'home' each evening to the Menlo Park Inn. The bed was perfect, and the room warm and welcoming.
