  You get what you pay for…basic cable, no fridge, no microwave, lights out…but essentially clean…if you just want a bed for the night…okay.

  Front desk staff were extremely polite/helpful/nice. That was the only good part about the stay. However even for only 1 night this room was awful. If we'd had the option to go elsewhere we would have. Additionally, sadly, the staff are well aware of issues with rooms & the hotel, and allude to the fact that the owners are unwilling to improve/fix anything. Our room (323) had the following problems: Empty soap/shampoo containers (we had to go ask); bathtub not draining; shower not turning on all the way (bath faucet continues to run so shower not at full pressure); bathroom frame gross/rusty; carpets not fully vaccuumed (had crumbs & other dirt on them, gross); windows filthy on the *inside*, not even wiped; entry ceiling light "strobe light" flickering/not working; one light above one of two beds not working; wall thermostat not functioning(!) and room was extremely stuffy; the antiquated old AC/Heat unit by the window turned on but was EXTREMELY noisy and smelly - did not seem safe; in general the room was not upkept/maintained well - very dated, not in good condition; coffee not provided in room (coffee maker had one pod of reg. coffee for 3 guests. This was not a good hotel, and not worth the price for even one night....one of the least pricy in the area but now we know why. We were not offered ANY concession for all of the issues (even as Wymdham members). This place is awful and staff implies they're aware of issues and the long-time owners ("Morgan Hill Lodging LLC") don't seem to care. Would not stay here again and don't recommend this place even for folks looking for a cheap price. Recommend that Wyndham look into this - - your brand is on this place & it doesn't represent the brand well. We're members and are typically happy with Wyndham properties but not this one.

  As a traveling registered nurse on assignment in the San Jose area, I stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites in Morgan Hill for four weeks. I found it to be a good option for healthcare professionals seeking clean, affordable, and quiet accommodations.Cleanliness & Comfort:The rooms were consistently clean, with fresh linens and daily housekeeping available. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet environment, which is important when working night shifts and needing restful sleep during the day. The HVAC system worked well, and I had no issues with noise from other rooms or the hallway.Location:Morgan Hill is a quieter suburb, which I preferred after long shifts in the busy hospital environment. The hotel is located near grocery stores, coffee shops, and pharmacies—everything a nurse might need between shifts. It’s about a 25–30 minute drive to most hospitals in the San Jose area, so plan accordingly for traffic. One of the highlights of staying in this area was the abundance of Vietnamese restaurants and boba tea shops nearby. These local spots made dining without a kitchen much easier and more enjoyable.Staff & Service:The front desk staff was courteous and responsive to any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they accommodated my early check-in without issue. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. Final Thoughts:While it's not a luxury hotel, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Morgan Hill is a great value for traveling nurses who prioritize cleanliness, quiet rest, and convenience. I’d recommend it for short to mid-term assignments, especially if you're looking for a safe and budget-friendly stay close to the San Jose healthcare network.

  The rooms are always clean and upon arrival this place has a wonderful staff and manager Sid super helpful. I have contract work which to avoid long commutes I keep coming back booking here, this place and area is safe, rooms are always clean and peaceful. I’ve never had a bad experience at this place

  Room was in rough shape. Broken drawers. Split linoleum in the bathroom. Musty smell. Thermostat did not work at all, which I saw in another review so they are not even bothering to fix it. Curtains do not block out the bright exterior lights so it is VERY hard to sleep. Vending machines are broken and they do not have any waters for sale or to comp. If this was an $80 motel it would not feel like such a ripoff.
