  Great stay! My son had a weekend soccer tournament at the Morgan Hill Sports Complex, which happens to be directly across the street from SureStay. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and informed us about the free daily breakfast, and even offered us a room on the 1st or 2nd floor - our choice. The breakfast was great. Some of the items we had were: pancakes, sausage links. eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juices, bagels, bread, Danish pastries, and coffee.I recommend a stay. We'll definitely be back during another tournament.

  Good basic hotel for our needs. Clean and comfortable.

  This is a basic hotel for what we needed, which was a stopping place for us before we went to Pinnacles National Park about an hour away. It was clean and although close to the highway, I wasn't bothered by the noise. I got a good night's sleep. Several places to eat within a couple of miles.

  Undergoing renovation - looks like it will be lovely!

  The hotel was undergoing renovation, so we got a bargain on our rooms as there was apparently 'no furniture' other than the bed. However, there was a side table, TV, fridge and microwave, so it was perfectly adequate for what we needed for one night. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and honest and open about the renovation.

  Bugs everywhere

  Well well well. I wasn’t going to leave a review, I was just going to let this issue be, but the disrespectful asian owner decided to take it upon him self to call me a liar and scream at me. So here we go. Upon checking into the hotel we were first locked out and had to sit in the cold until someone finally opened the door to check us in(the aforementioned Asian male, who is one of the mangers/owners). After checking us into our “deluxe jacuzzi room” we proceeded to go to our room and upon entering OMG, first the moldy smell of the room was bad but whatever it was bearable for one night. We then go to the bathroom as we had a long train ride and there quite literally was an infestation of bugs and ants all over.**( I have pictures AND video evidence of this, but as far as I can see I can’t post them here. But if ANYONE would like to see them I will be posting them on my yelp review and hotels.com review cause I KNOW the racist owner is going to come on here and say im lying, so that is why I will include pictures, videos, as well as the information from my iPhone pictures showing my geographic location and time for the pictures so he can’t deny this happened)****BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER. So after seeing the infestation we packed up and went to the front desk. We KINDLY and politely informed him that we will not be staying the night as we found bugs in our room. The manager said “oh that’s fine I’ll get you another room” I replied, “no thank you. My wife wants to stay elsewhere. Thank you very much though. Have a good night” and we walked outside to wait for our Uber. After roughly 5 min wait the manager then came outside and proceeded to yell at me saying “I check the room, there no bugs”, I said sir, I have videos of it, I have zero reason to lie. The manager then said “let me see it” , I then Proceeded to show the man the video, and after it finished he said, and I can’t make this up lol “that’s no bugs, that’s just ants!” 😑I said sir, “ants are bugs” he then responded with, “yea but it’s just ants they don’t bite” ,😑 I then said “sir you’re missing the point, me and my wife paid for a room with no bugs, so again we will be staying else where”, he then went back inside and locked the door. I thought this situation was over…..nope lol I was wrong. 2 minutes later he then comes outside screaming and yelling saying “YOU LIAR! YOU LIE!! THERE NO BUGS!!LIAR!!” , I still stayed calm and said “ sir I showed you video, lol I’m not lying. We were nice and respectful and said we were just going to stay elsewhere” , he just kept screaming and then went inside and then came back out again and started screaming again calling us liars. We walked away and waited for our ride in the rain by the road.We contacted hotels.com and they tried to contact the hotel. The hotel REFUSED to acknowledge the incident happened and thus refused to refund us. But that’s why my family uses third party booking apps, because guess what, we still got our refund THROUGH hotels. So we won anyways. I will also contact every possible booking service to leave this review in hopes that other famlies don’t have to deal with the blatant disrespect, and just bold disarray of the hotel. I would like to add that we left this hotel and booked a room at the NEW and beautiful LaQuinta just down the road from this crap place. And again anyone wanting to see the video evidence, check yelp,Hotels.com,Expedia, everywhere I will be posting the evidence

  Dump is an understatement, should be shut down

  Used hotwire and got this place. Absolute waste of $150 and probably the worst motel stay I have had.Fire alarm was going off when I pulled into the parking lot. Since refund wasn't an option, went out for dinner and came back an hour later. Asked the front desk clerk about the fire alarm - she said it was just kids playing around. She then proceeded to tell me that a hotel next door burned down and this was best hotel in the area!The place just oozes shade and neglect. Parking lot and stairwells lacked proper lighting, external floors and parking lot look as if they haven't been cleaned in a decade. Urine and grabage stains on nearly every exterior flooring surface. Then onto the room - my son cried the minute we entered. Couple of flies in the room. Dingy, dirty, and dated and old around smelled bad. Carpet was filthy. Was given a king bed and a pull out to sleep 4 persons. Pull out couch was filthy with no bedding for the pull out, leftover snack food all over the pull out. Didn't do the breakfast as it looked like 4 slices of toast and some cereal. Should have kept my $150 and slept in the car.
