    Serene and private atmosphere

    rating03 Jun 2026

It is a lovely inn at a beautiful location next to a park and creek. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing. You can hear the creek from the balcony. The staff was friendly and you get to know them because it's a smaller and more intimate setting. The location is perfect, you can walk to town center. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I had no complaints about anything.

Overpriced, horrible management, take your $ elsewhere

    rating12 Nov 2025

My one-star deals entirely with my 10 minute interaction with the manager at checkout. But first let me describe the property. This is one of two hotels in downtown Saratoga (which is a pretty bougie, not diverse village in Silicon Valley). We wanted to stay there because it was quiet and we thought it would be a nice place to land before heading to Big Sur.The rooms are fine. The building itself is dated..ie the elevator takes FOREVER. I also would say that our room (404) was directly across from accessible doors outside, which didn't feel safe. The price was on the higher side, especially for a Hilton property which I view as a lower quality brand than Marriott or other parent brands. We paid nearly $400 for one night, off-season with only a few other guests in the hotel.I am a Marriott Ambassador, their highest level of loyalty. I am not familiar with Hilton but I am a Gold member due to my credit card status. When my wife and I checked in, the gentleman told us because of my Gold status we would get $15 each or $30 towards food & beverage for our stay. Because we are not Hilton regulars, we trusted his word. We got 2 cookies that evening ($6) and for breakfast we got 2 chia seed puddings ($18). Clearly, we were below the $30 threshold. However when we checked out, we were not given the credit but were told that the credit wasn't for the entirety of the stay and needed to be used in one event -- which was not shared with us at the time of check in.The front desk woman got her manager who may possibly be the LEAST CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUSED, unhappy woman we have encountered in a long time. We explained what the check-in gentleman told us the night before. She immediately challenged us and told us we were wrong. She was rude, belittling and frankly just a really unpleasant human. She acted as if we were supposed to know the rules, when they were explained to us incorrectly by HER STAFF. Why is this our problem that your staff don't know how the $15 per person credit works??!!While the actual premises were overpriced and mediocre at best (empty water bottles in our room, hair on the floor, uncomfortable pillows, closet-sized fitness room, antiquated elevators), her attitude was despicable and not remotely customer service focused or kind. For the record, we were contesting less than $5. This amount was on principal, not on price.I would NEVER stay here again and I hope a regional manager or someone who understands how guests are treated by front desk staff and management leaves a strong impression. I genuinely hope that she is reminded firmly of what customer service means. Gretchen Louie, Owner at The Inn At Saratoga, Tapestry Collection By Hilton, responded to this review Dear 621nikig,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your recent stay did not meet your expectations, and I appreciate the opportunity to provide clarification.Regarding the Hilton Honors Food & Beverage credit, I regret that there was confusion at check-in. The credit is issued per night of your stay and unfortunately does not accumulate. Our front desk associate may have misspoken while explaining the benefit, and I understand how that could have caused frustration. Our manager’s intent at checkout was to clarify the program guidelines accurately, not to be dismissive or unhelpful. We will review this situation with our team to ensure all information is communicated clearly and courteously. While I’m disappointed that this misunderstanding impacted your overall impression, please know that we value your loyalty and feedback. We continually strive to deliver exceptional service and a comfortable stay for all our guests, and your comments will help us refine both training and communication moving forward. We hope you will consider giving The Inn at Saratoga another opportunity in the future, so we may provide the warm, welcoming experience our team is known for.

    Gem with a Relaxing Vibe

    rating09 Nov 2025

Love this gem of a hotel! It's not your typical Hilton for sure--definitely a boutique vibe. Located in the heart of Saratoga but tucked away between the downtown main street and a wooded area with a little creek. Our king size room was cozy and had a little terrace with a table and chairs for two that looks out over the creek. Very clean and the bedding, towels etc. were top notch. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The fitness room isn't much to speak of but there's lots of hiking. Looks just like the pictures. Would definitely come back!

    Cozy and Charming

    rating18 Oct 2025

What a romantic place to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. Loved the quaint decor, the luxurious bathroom with huge soaking tub, the fluffy robes and slippers, the creek side view and the oh so comfortable bed. We had cocktails on the patio during happy hour and in the morning we watched a bunch of deer playfully chase each other around while drinking coffee on the balcony. My only teeny tiny complaint is there was only 1 chair on the balcony.

    Modern and Classy hidden gem!

    rating09 Oct 2025

Wow! Hidden gem to say the very least! Modern and classy. Upscale area boasting amazing eateries and shops that are walkable. From check in with Javier and his exceptional customer service and warm welcome to David serving a mean martini at the bar! Both employees deserve recognition for going above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable as a female solo business traveler. Parking is easy, and like I mentioned location location location! The hotel is very clean, housekeeping clearly makes sure every corner is covered! The rooms have a lovely view of the trees and creek, and made for an overall comfortable stay. I’m def going back.
