    This is not a 4 star or 5 star hotel. It needs a total re do. The staff is excellent, but don't expect usb service or updated anything.     Nice property, staff need more training

    The hotel is a nice mid range property, but the staff need more training. Upon checking in, I gave my credit card to an agent who was very new. He took my credit card and then couldn’t finish the check-in, so he handed me off to the other front desk agent. In the transfer, I forgot to ask for my card back. The other agent tried looking for a room upgrade, but it was taking a while, so he suggested I check-in to a room and he’ll call within 20-30 mins. That call never happened, but it was OK as the room was quite nicely appointed. Clean, nice bedding, nice bathroom etc. I asked several more times whenever I went by the front desk. No card.. they couldn’t locate it. Frustrating. Upon leaving the property, I waited for 5-10 mins to check-out and another person walked in and stood at the front desk. They helped that person next and skipped me. Staff need a bit more training to avoid these issues. I needed to extend my stay for 1 extra day, but decided to try a new hotel nearby.     Very good, though the sheets were not high thread count and the green blanket was ragged for both beds. The pools was vey nice and the breakfast was great, but at least some touch of variety needed.

    I really loved this hotel! The inside is beautiful, the staff are very nice, and the location is great, super close to Stanford's campus and the mall. I'd definitely recommend if you're staying in Silicon Valley!

    Unhelpful staff, elevator out of order, trash left out overnight, housekeeping unreliable. WiFi terrible. Parking garage is difficult to navigate. I regretted staying here and was surprised to see this quality in a Marriott/Westinproperty.
