  Miss Jamie in valet was fantastic; knew our name after one introduction. We had a wonderful time in Savannah primarily because people were so friendly; Miss Jamie embodied that sense of hospitality. Hotel was well located, very clean and super quiet.

  Nice Hotel at a Great Location but Loud Traffic!

  Great location within easy walking distance of the river and River St. with all of its restaurants and shops, and then City Market and the historic district in the other direction. Room was clean and bed very comfortable, as usual for Hilton hotels. Daily breakfast buffet was good. They also have plated menu options but I was short on time so preferred the buffet. It’s not complimentary, though, and a bit pricey for typical continental breakfast foods. Staff were friendly. Main complaint, and reason for losing a star, is the noise. The walls must be paper thin because I could hear my neighbors pretty clearly one night and they weren’t shouting or partying. Worst though was the traffic outside. It was SO loud! Woke me up early each morning and I’m normally a heavy sleeper. The hotel is right on the main road and it was surprisingly loud for a small city (I’m from Chicago so used to city noise, but this was unusually loud). If you can, get a room on the south side, facing the back.
