  This hotel is very dingy. The staff and housekeeping were okay and the breakfast is pretty good. But I disnt dare go for a walk or venture beyond the parking lot. There's a methadone clinic across the street and a huge shelter for the unhoused a few blocks away. No judgment - just sad and depressing. I would not stay there again.

  Awful experience! My son in law was trapped in the elevator from 9:30 at night until almost 11:00. The hotel staff did not know what to do, no one was prepared, one elevator was out of order and the one that worked got stuck! The worse thing about this experience is that the hotel does not care! No one has reached out to us.No one has called us, in fact I have called for 4 weeks in a row, and no one cares! I would avoid this hotel and Best Western overall! Imagine your child being the one that was stuck!

  Our recent stay at the Best Western, driven by an event at the dome, was deeply disappointing and frankly, an exercise in frustration. While we expected an inflated price due to the event, paying nearly triple the usual rate for this experience is unacceptable.The room itself was dismal. The view was less a 'view' and more a look into an 'apocalyptic-esque' HVAC system, constantly 'enhanced' by a relentlessly bright fluorescent light directly outside our window.However, the major issue was the parking situation. Upon arrival, we were hit with an unexpected demand for an additional parking fee, despite the already exorbitant room rate. Compounding this, there was simply nowhere to park. Due to the event, every single spot within a mile radius was taken. When we sought help, the staff's response — "this always happens" — was infuriating.This casual dismissal is precisely the problem. If a hotel knowingly charges drastically inflated rates during major events, the expectation is that they will have a solution for fundamental amenities like parking. To take advantage of the demand and then offer no solutions, while adding extra fees, is terrible customer service. The Best Western clearly knows this is an ongoing issue and needs to "figure it out" immediately instead of shrugging off the problem. We paid for a premium stay but received a bottom-tier, frustrating experience.

  Let me start by saying the staff I interacted with were genuinely pleasant, and I really enjoyed the morning breakfasts. I made my reservation months ago, and while the process hit a snag due to the property getting bought out, it caused a bit of panic. I figured booking early would mean a better room location, but apparently that’s not how it works.I was expecting a great view, but a few things made it pretty disappointing. The windows clearly hadn’t been washed in a long time—someone even managed to draw a smiley face on the outside of the glass, which I still can’t figure out how that’s even possible. At night, the view gets completely ruined by flood lamps that light up the entire room. Trying to get the drapes fully closed is a challenge, and any tiny gap lets that harsh light pour in. The windows open slightly, and from there you can see trash and towels scattered across the rooftop below.Then there’s the elevator situation. It felt like only one was working, and the lines to go up or down were ridiculous. If I didn’t have a cane, I honestly would’ve just taken the stairs.And the kicker? Parking. They charged an extra $15 per night just to park my car. That didn’t sit right with me at all. Between that and everything else, I doubt I’ll be coming back to this hotel
