    A pleasant surprise

    rating22 Jan 2026

We stayed here for a few nights in 435, January 17th – 20th . The hotel overall is pretty clean. The lobby is inviting. There is a pool and fitness room in the back left. Directly out back is a nice sitting area with a BBQ you can use. The breakfast room is in the Lobby off to the right. On site laundry all machines worked. There is a small business center with an ATM. All the fitness room equipment worked and was maintained and cleaned. We saw the cleaning of the fitness and pool area being tended two twice during our stay so they do take care of it. Breakfast was not bad at all and rotated out the meats daily. The area was clean and the food was hot. All the employees we interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable and said hello even if we did not need them. The plus side to this hotel is the pool and hot tub is open 24 hours a day for adult hotel guests and there are signs that are clearly marked saying so. They do tend to stick to this. However I think if you have a well behaved child that is quite you might could get around this. We did with our 13 yr old, who wanted to swim from 11 p.m. – 12. But in his defense he is 6’4” and been around older adults most of his life in public. So he acts a lot older than his age. The hallways are a bit dated on the upper floors but not badly. You can hear noise in them but not to distracting. Our room was clean the beds were just right for us and everything worked. The USB outlets do need to be replaced they are loose but they do work. The only downsides are the TV’s are not smart TV’s or they are in hotel mode so you cannot run any of your apps unless you cast them to the TV. The other is $10.00 parking per night. They really do need to consider doing away with this. Staff did greet or speak to us each time we came or left which was nice. Overall I would give this hotel an 8.0 – 8.5 out of a 10. They do go out of there way to make you feel welcome, the fact that you can use the pool 24/7 is something all Hilton hotels can learn from. I like a late night hot tub soaking even if it is for 5 or 10 minutes. But be mindful that again after 10 or 11 it is adults only. Again if your child is quiet and acting a little older perhaps no one will say anything or question it. However do not expect it. We were there when a Child Hockey team was staying there and even then our floor was quiet. Lots of food options and shopping all around. Just off the I-5. Close to Seattle 15 miles away, Sea-tac is about 35 miles away. The area seemed safe and was pretty quiet. House keeping surprised us, our room was cleaned and refreshed everyday. Something we were glad to see they kept alive here and our room looked fantastic when we returned daily. This was our first visit to this state and I only wish the East Coast Hilton franchisee’s were run as well as this one. When we come back we will stay here again. Nicholas Cooper, General Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-north/lynnwood, responded to this review Hi Edrick,Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review we really appreciate it, and we're glad your first visit to Washington was a good one. It means a lot to our team to hear that everything from the lobby to the pool to housekeeping helped make your stay enjoyable. I’ll be sure to pass your comments along to both our housekeeping and front desk teams; they’ll be thrilled. We also appreciate your notes regarding the TV setup, parking, and hallway finishes. We are currently in the process of converting our rooms to connected TVs so guests can easily access their apps without workarounds. In addition, we’ll be refreshing the property this spring with new carpet, wallpaper in the corridors, and updated lobby furniture. We hope these upgrades make your next visit even better. It was wonderful to have you as our guest, and we’d love to welcome you back the next time you’re in Lynnwood. Thank you again for the kind words and for noticing the small touches like 24/7 pool access and daily housekeeping. Our team takes pride in those details.Safe travels, and we look forward to seeing you again.Warm regards,

    Amazing!

This hotel was AWESOME. Very nice lobby area with fish in the water feature. Small shop area with plenty of options that they can just charge to your room for you. Complimentary laundry with new, modern machines. Complimentary morning breakfast was amazing. For a free breakfast, I was very surprised. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, oatmeal, waffles, sausage and bacon, etc. We didn’t eat there for supper but they were making fish and chips and it smelled great and saw lots of people having it. 24/7 complimentary coffee in the lobby. Staff were extremely nice. Clean, well maintained pool and hot tub with lots of seating. Great gym, even had a peloton. Room was very comfortable, great shower. And the neighborhood was very safe and walkable. Loved this place. Could not recommend it enough. Very great value for money. Great stay.

We were welcomed by a very friendly front desk employee. I wish I could remember her name. She said the room that we reserved would be a little bit of a hike because on an elevator issue. I explained to her that my wife has mobility issues. So she upgraded us to a suite. The room was very large. Full kitchen, dinning table that seats 6, living room with 2 couches, and a separate bedroom with 2 queens. The room was cleaned to perfection(and I look😂) I like the touch of a new sponge and mini bottle of dish soap. There are free washers and dryers on site as well. My daughter was a little bummed because the pool was down during our stay but no big deal. The breakfast area was constantly cleaned and replenished. Standard hotel breakfast but a great deal these days with less and less hotels including breakfast. Every staff member we met was very kind and always smiling. I saw several dogs in the hallway with their owners but heard nothing in our room. We would definitely stay here again. Great job! Nicholas Cooper, General Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-north/lynnwood, responded to this review Thank you so much for the incredible and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a positive experience and that our front desk team was able to accommodate your wife's needs with an upgrade. It's also wonderful to hear that our breakfast service, housekeeping team, and overall staff friendliness stood out to you—we’ll be sure to share your kind words with the team.We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Hampton Inn & Suites Lynnwood for another great stay. Clean and great location.

    rating14 Apr 2025

Good customer service when booking and then when checking in. Good communication during stay with text messages. Very clean throughout the property and in the rooms. Room was good size for a 2-queen standard room. Decent breakfast included with the usual waffles, although the powdered eggs were a disappointment. Large eating area had available tables each morning, and was nice to use for a couple take-out dinners.Location is perfect for all the Alderwood stuff on either side of I-5.A couple other things not great: $10/day parking fee and pretty steep pet fee $75 for our dog.We didn’t use the decent-size indoor pool or the large out patio. Nicholas Cooper, General Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-north/lynnwood, responded to this review Thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing to stay with us at Hampton Inn & Suites Lynnwood! We’re so glad to hear our team provided great service from booking to check-in, and that you appreciated the communication throughout your stay. It’s also wonderful to know you found the property and rooms to be very clean and enjoyed the space in your two-queen room. We're glad the breakfast area worked well for your mornings and take-out evenings! We appreciate your feedback about the breakfast. While we aim to offer a variety of hot items each morning, we understand that powdered eggs may not meet everyone's expectations, and we’re always working on ways to improve our offerings.Regarding the parking and pet fees — we understand how those can add up. Our $10 daily parking fee helps us maintain the lot and ensure availability for our guests, and the pet fee covers deep cleaning and allergen control for future guests. That said, we appreciate your feedback and always take it into consideration as we evaluate our policies. We hope you’ll visit us again and maybe have a chance to enjoy the pool and outdoor patio next time!Warm regards,
