    A good hotel in a good location close to downtown Everett

    I stayed here one night before surgery at Providence Everett and recommend this hotel for its location with easy walking distance to the hospital, Goodwill and downtown Everett. Jacob & hotel staff ably navigated construction that will improve the front desk and lobby. I liked the Hampton Inn breakfast: Basic, reliable with two types of hot sauce!

    I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of March. I booked the Hampton Inn because I stayed there for a couple of weeks in 2015 and I remembered it being a clean, comfortable place. I was cautiously optimistic, expecting some wear and tear compared to 11 years ago, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was, if anything, nicer than the last time I was there. I got a view of the apartment building next door, but I didn’t book a room with any particular view so I was fine with it. My room was spacious, very quiet, and comfortable. Good internet and TV, the thermostat worked well, the shower had good water pressure and the hot water was hot. Really no issues at all.Also, I’ll just say it — it’s difficult to find a decently priced hotel anywhere near the Seattle-Tacoma area that doesn’t stink of marijuana. I’m happy to report that I never got any trace of it in my room. I could actually breathe because the room, and even the hallway outside, smelled clean and pleasant. The gym was very clean and the equipment was in good condition. Same with the laundry room. The breakfast was everything you would expect from an included breakfast buffet, with a good variety of options. They even had tortillas and fillings for you to make breakfast burritos, as well as a couple of different waffle batter flavors to choose from or mix. There is a little convenience store corner by the front desk that was well stocked. All the staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly.The hotel is going through renovations. I did not experience any disruptions because of it, but I stayed during the weekend so I don’t know how much weekday stays would be affected. I think I got a room in a renovated area. I noticed that there was still work being done right outside the breakfast room, but it didn’t interfere with any service. I didn’t use the pool or business center, but I did see that they are open during the renovations.I would definitely book this hotel again.

    Good hotel but a little weathered.

    Nice hotel but definitely a little weathered. As you can see in my pictures the furniture is pretty rough around the edges, and the drawer on the nightstand no longer had its guides so it was either difficult to open or would come flying out. We also had a water view room but it was definitely more of a water adjacent view. One had to stand at the window and look pretty sharply to the west to really see the water. I was expecting a room that was noted as “water view” on the website would have had a direct view of the water, viewable from just about any angle in the room. One bonus is the number of power outlets. There were 7 outlets accessible from the night stand alone if you pulled it out just a little. Always appreciated as a cpap user. Another plus was the adequate AC that offered a constant fan. The beds were comfortable but you could tell they had been around a while. But they offered plenty of pillows with a variety of fillings resulting in a nice variety of firmness levels. They do not that the hotel is undergoing construction so I am hopeful that the rooms are being updated. Time will tell.

    New, modern, well equipped hotel. Rooms are comfortable, quiet with adequate elevators. Service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is above average when compared to other hotels. Pool is clean but no hot tub. Parking is underground with a seven foot clearance, and many tight spaces. Above 7 feet you park on the street. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy and not good for walking. Few restaurants near by. Pet fee is $75.
