  Great place to stay at- Highly recommend!

  Great value! We were staying for a convention 10 minutes up the road for the weekend. We had to have a slip of paper to park in the lot and we always found a parking spot, despite a Semi using 10 spots. The breakfast had six choices of hot buffet breakfast items each day with two of those rotating. Lots of choices: yogurt, muffins, cereal, waffle maker, juices, milk, oatmeal and coffee. Rooms were super clean and we didn't hear other rooms except once or twice above up for a few seconds. The workers were always very kind and helpful. They had Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers, and Dove liquid soap and lotion in the bathrooms. Room came with a mini fridge, microwave, and ironing board. Despite being right by the elevator, it was really quiet. Highly recommend!

  I wouldn't recommend. Probably better options nearby. Wasn't cheap either.Room and bathroom need some remodeling. TV wasn't working.

  Very nice hotel. Big clean comfortable rooms. Very good complimentary breakfast. Staff were very helpful and excellent. The room we had was positioned next to highway and main road so was a little loud. Maybe ask for one in front of building. But would definitely go back.

  I am writing this review while staying at this hotel. We had booked reservations directly with IHG several months in advance of arriving. We had booked a stay here for 3 days, because we expected to be in town for that time frame. We did receive a confirm from IHG, and expected everything to go well.First upon arriving they were doing some work in the room and our room would not be ready for about 1/2 hour. We were asked to take a seat in the lounge breakfast area for some coffee if liked, while we waited.Second we choose this hotel because it had a fitness area, hot tub and pool. Something we looked forward to using during our stay . Upon arriving we found out the hot tub was out of service for the next several days ( which included our time here).We were told we had the option to use the BW hotel s hot tub next door on a reciprocal basis, but if we originally wanted to use their facility, we would have booked there! Then after entering the room, ( with a very strong musty smell)we found the toilet leaking.NEXT, Upon reviewing the hotels in the area, I started shopping prices if we choose to relocate. Having belonged to several hotel sites, as well as being a member of IHG. Sure enough after checking I find that B*****ng.com has this same hote/ rooml for our exact dates we had booked, and has it listed nearly 200 dollars less than what we paid through the hotels website as actual members with IHG and Holiday Inn.I was shocked and called right away the customer care. I was told this hotels general manager would be getting back to me about matching this price. Not in addition to the problems and lack of amenities we ran into here from the get go. I never received a call from anyone from the hotel, and sought out the GM the next morning. Upon locating him, I was told this hotel, despite having made reservations directly when IHG, and now having lower listed price online, does not match prices. Does not match prices ( which I presumed was the lowest available when booked directly through IHG) and he said the hotel does not price guarantee despite being an IHG property, nor honors any corrections to price for actual IHG members. This was the last straw. I was told he would only allow the cancelation of the IHG reservation ( less the one night already stayed) and I could rebook the same room with B*****ng.com.ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! Just because of this nonsense and inconvenience, I did cancel with IHG, and rebooted at the correct lower price with B*****ng.com. If it was any more convenient to leave for another hotel, we would have. Don't expect being an IHG member to honor any services at this Holiday Inn Express, particularly with reservations and pricing. Nor did they offer any considerations other than repairing the toilet, while we were still in the room. Neither offering compensation or considerations for no hot tub available at this hotel as well. All of which makes this a terrible choice. And, as for being a n IHGmember for many years, I am considering leaving IHG for god, because they do not support their customers with any hotel issues Cannot recommend this property

  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup (Tacoma): Friendly, Affordable, and Convenient

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Puyallup because of its proximity to Seattle airport and the complimentary shuttle service provided by the hotel. The personnel were very friendly and the shuttle was right on time. In addition, breakfast was served early enough that we were able to eat before catching the 5:30 am shuttle for our very early plane. Because of the shuttle service, we were able to drop our car off the previous evening so we did not have to rush to return the car the morning of our flight.
