    Good stay for the airport

    Great hotel. Good location for the airport with a shuttle bus that runs every 30 mins plus it will take you to nearby dining spots.Room was very impressive particularly as its an Express. Very clean and big with a walk in shower. Breakfast the usual hotel fare. Lots of parking.

    Nice pillows and food

    Stayed on two different nights.The first night was good. Two types of pillows - firm and soft. They are labeled on the pillow case. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 was the shuttle to the cruise port was $20 per person and this was not stated before we were on the shuttle.The second night was similar. There were 3 soft pillows and 1 firm pillow. The firm pillow felt the same as soft.The breakfast was very good. Both times offered bagels, English muffins, various breads, scrambled eggs, veggie omelets, pancakes, juices, yogurt, cream cheese and milk. Saturday offered sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits while Sunday was bacon and breakfast potatoes.The staff was friendly and polite. Offering appropriate answers to questions.There's a very nice park half a block down the hill from the hotel - Angle Lake Park. It has a nice nature trail and paved paths

    just south of airport, easy to find. we had no trouble finding parking. A pass is given with check out date.Room was quite, beds and good shape, nice roller black out shade. Breakfast was fresh, I always enjoy holiday inn express breakfasts.Was a great starting point for heading to Port Angeles (we drove south around town instead of taking ferry).

    We planned to stay here because we usually have a good experience with IHG hotels. Unfortunately this experience is the exception. My 8 year old daughter woke up the morning we were headed to this Holiday Inn Express at SeaTac with kidney stone pain. I called the hotel to cancel our reservation since we had to move our flight earlier. The first rep I got when I called the local 206 number hung up on me after I explained our situation. Then the second person transferred me to a supervisor who told me “Sarah” the manager would call me back to see if they could refund me. Not only did “Sarah” never call (not sure she exists), the rep transferred me to an IHG sales rep who rudely tried to sell me on a non existent 3 night stay in the future. I was supposed to pay $250 then and then book my vacation within the next 12 months. It was such a run around and made me so upset we will not return to any IHG hotel. Marriott for the win, and good riddance to IHG and how they treat their rewards members.     Pretty decent, quiet place. Stay away from the Dennys nearby. Close to the train if you're there for a game. Reasonable rates, friendly folks.
