    Good, but sometimes someone have to cause a wrinkle.

    I stay on this location because of the WACA state test. It is where it is held so it's convenient to stay there. Our stay was overall very good. Everything was clean, as usual and the pool was always a plus, and Brandon at the front desk was truly 5‑star, efficient, friendly, and a standout in customer service.The only issue was with the breakfast staff. While I was looking at the food with a plate in hand, the staff member said, “Ma’am, you’re not allowed to get food if you are not a guest or checked in here, but go ahead.” in a condescending tone. I work in the service industry, so the tone surprised me , especially in front of my son. I showed my key card, and all she said was “oh,” with no apology. It dampened the experience, and I waited until I calmed down before eating.What made it more confusing is that she was cheerful with other guests, even the next morning. I’m not sure what she assumed, but in all my hotel stays in other states, I’ve never been approached like that. If she believes that was polite, I respectfully disagree.Despite that moment, the stay was good, and I would still return and recommend the hotel. I’ll just tell friends to keep their key card visible at breakfast.

    We booked a single night in room 422. The room was clean, complete with Keurig coffee maker, small microwave and small refrigerator. This is a 2 queen bed room so we looked forward to each having our own bed and a good nights sleep. Unfortunately both beds should be replaced - they are lumpy without a single spot that is still flat. They look fine to see with the covers removed, but to lay on them is where you start to be uncomfortable. Of the 2 elevators, one was broken and not running, the hot tub was broken and not working so the pool area was locked off also. I will compliment the free breakfast which as a wide variety of food and drink, and got us started down the road the next morning. Lumpy beds however are a deal killer for future business.

    We can recommend this hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean and freshly pressed. We appreciated the breakfast, which included oatmeal, omelet, warm sausages, and fresh fruit. The gym was modest but sufficient for a good workout.

    Best hotel to stay for business trip when in Sumner WA. Friendly and caring staff .Hotel was clean and had all the amenities I need while on the road. Its convenient to the places I needed to visit while on business and downtown Sumner has some nice restaurants and shops to check out as well. Hoping to visit them again soon.

    The hotel was nice, and the room was clean. The staff were all courteous except for the one who worked the front desk on Saturday evening. We were in Auburn for a sports tournament over the weekend, and the team stayed at this hotel. The youngsters were 11 years old. On a Saturday night at 7 p.m., the parents and approximately 15 children gathered in the lobby for a secret Santa gift exchange in the common area restaurant lobby. The front desk personnel advised the parents to check out and leave the hotel immediately, and she is calling the police. She didn't speak to any parent(s); there was no warning or dialogue about her concerns. She stormed into the restaurant, yelled, and told us to leave at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening, expecting all of the parents and children to find another hotel. I believe she could have exercised better communication skills and perhaps enlist in some conflict resolution training. She was super unprofessional with the parents in front of the kids. We've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years with the sports team and have never experienced anything like this before involving young kids. Needless to say, not staying here for sports tournaments in the area.
