Nice hotel, good location, great food

    rating17 Mar 2026

A nice hotel in a good location! As a hyatt globalist I'm glad this hotel joined hyatt. My only complaint was the breakfast credit was only $30 which wasn't enough for coffee and an entrée. The food was excellent, and service all around was as well.

Hotel changes AMEX FHR benefits without notice

    rating08 Mar 2026

I booked this hotel through the Amex FHR program and it was clearly listed to include a $100 dining or spa credit. When I arrived the hotel said it was now a $200 spa only credit. Sounds good, except the spa had no appointments available and closed early that day, so I was forced to use it at a very poor golf simulator. While I was able to order food at the golf simulator, I would have much rather gotten my original credit at the sit down restaurant. The hotel has no excuse for not reaching out to me with the change in benefits while I could still cancel the reservation, because they messaged me a few days earlier about check in and valet pricing, so they had a way to reach me. I understand that they changed from Hilton to Hyatt, but I booked it as an Amex Fine Hotel and was not treated under the terms of my reservation. This hotel would otherwise be a solid 4* as the room is quite nice, its a good location, and staff is friendly and helpful except for having no ability to honor the terms of the booking. It looks bad for the hotel and the Amex FHR program.

    Best Birthday Decision Ever!

    rating27 Feb 2026

I stayed here for my birthday and it honestly exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment you walk in, the space feels beautiful and intentional — fresh flowers, calming energy, and decor that feels almost spa-like. It set the tone for such a peaceful, celebratory stay. What really made the experience special, though, was the people. Every single interaction was warm and genuine — from valet and the door staff to the front desk, restaurant team, and housekeeping. The level of kindness and care was consistent across the board, and it truly felt like they wanted my stay to be special. The location is fantastic — super central, close to the water and so many great spots downtown. Parking is definitely on the pricey side, so I’d recommend planning ahead for that, but the convenience of the location makes it easy to get around once you’re there.I had originally booked a water-view room and learned (after arriving) that views below the 10th floor can be a bit obstructed. I was ready to just roll with it, but when the staff found out I was there for my birthday, they went above and beyond — not only moving me to a higher floor for my second night, but actually upgrading my room entirely. That level of generosity and attentiveness meant so much. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and every part of the stay felt thoughtful and well cared for. I left feeling celebrated, relaxed, and already thinking this might need to become an annual birthday tradition.A special thank you to the front desk team — particularly Masai Matthews and Macaria McCool — for their kindness and for making my stay feel so personal and memorable.I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

    Beautiful hotel and lovely staff

    rating04 Feb 2026

Writing this a month late. One of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at. Usually I prefer boutique hotels, but this one looked like fun. My room was gorgeous and the bathroom was huge. Walk in shower and a soaking tub. I had a nice view of the water as well. The staff were just wonderful. Very friendly and they knew a lot about the city. The three ladies that helped me the most were Crystal, Sara, and Ryoka. I don't know if the spelling is right. Can't wait to stay there again!
