    This hotel is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. Usually we choose a chain but the one next to our destination was almost $50 higher than Medillion. So we decided to take a chance. We’re so glad we did. We could find nothing about this hotel to complain about. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. The bed was great and breathing offered a huge selection. The only thing I could find was the toilet. I wish it had been a taller toilet, but that’s standard in most every hotel. Old legs like those taller toilets.     This hotel was sadly disappointing. It was not ok for my elderly Mom. Booked 2 nights, but she slept in the lounge chair in the room because the bed was too high up. The next day I asked about an ADA room thinking it would have a lower bed, but was told all the the rooms have the higher up beds. The rollaway offered was not used because it was sagging in in the middle and she did not feel comfortable in it. No sympathy given. Hospitality could be brushed up on here. It's like they could've said "well the room has a floor she can sleep on" 😒 😢 The dishwasher didn't work either. The koi pond at the entrance is lovely, and my son enjoyed the pool. But getting good sleep is fundamental to enjoying a stay. My Mom left exhausted. Desk staff didn't even seem happy there.*Response to the GM's inaccurate comments below:I requested to speak with you, or get a call from you about the situation so I could advocate for future elderly or disabled guests, but never heard from you. We were Never told any ADA rooms had lower height beds, but that they too were a bit elevated as the rest. We were never offered any discount. The only discount we got was when I asked about one, because we have AAA, at check in.We were charged for the roll away the second night when we never used it as well. The maintenance guy did after quite a bit of effort get the dishwasher to run, but only on the heavy cycle! I would think you would look into this because there are six different settings on it. If only one of them works; I'm sure you will have future guests who will be frustrated as well.

    Very disappointed! Stayed many years ago and was great. Kitchenette room didn't have enough dishes to eat together and on top of that they were all dirty! No decaf coffee in room or at breakfast. No gluten free options for breakfast that were not potentially cross contaminated. Drug deals in the parking lot and sketchy people in the pool area causing my daughter and grandson enough discomfort to abandon swimming early (One of the reasons we chose this hotel). Overall a pretty bad experience.

    RUDE FRONT DESK "SAM"

    THIS ACTUALLY DESERVES A NEGATIVE # FOR RATING. NEVER BOOK A ROOM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BELITTLED, TALKED DOWN TO AND TREATED JUST RUDELY BY SAM AT FRONT DESK. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A SITUATION WHERE I AM THE PAYING CUSTOMER AND THE FRONT DESK HELP SPOKE DOWN TO ME THEN TURNED AROUND AND RAISED THE RATE OF MY ROOM WITHOUT TELLING ME. SAYING THE HOTEL HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICE WHEN AND HOW THEY WANT. I AM NOT SURE THEY ARE SPEAKING ABOUT NOT GETTING ALONG WITH PAYING WOMAN DISABLED PROTECTED VETERAN AND JUST BECAUSE SAM DIDNT LIKE ME STANDING UP FOR MYSELF DECIDED TO CHANGE MY RATE. THIS IS WRONG ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT. I TOLD MANAGER EARLIER THAT DAY AS SOON AS I GOT OFF WORK I WOULD BE THERE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER NIGHT. SHE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THIS AND SHE STATED SHE GOT OFF AT 4. i TOLD HER I WOULD TRY MY BEST TO BE THERE BEFORE 4 NO PROMISES,THAT WAS FINE WITH HER. 5 MINUTES AFTER 4 SAM AT FRONT DESK IS CALLING MY DAUGHTER UP IN THE ROOM GRILLINGHER DEMANDING TO KNOW WHERE I WAS, WHY I WASNT THERE TO PAY HIM AT 4 AND WHY DID WE LIE TO MANAGMENT ABOUT PAYING FOR ROOM. I ASKED SAM FOR COOPERATES # SO I COULD SPEAK WITH THEM ABOUT HOW IM BEING TREATED BY YOU AND THE HORRIBLE SERVICE. HE TOLD ME THEY DONT HAVE A COOPERATE AND GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

    We had stayed here last year when an intermittent fire alarm had taken place during the night. The manager was kind enough to comp us the room and we decided to return for another stay.Location is not very visible from the road but it is convenient - just off the highway near Tulalip, the Outlets, and Costco. The property is dated but served us well for one night. Check in was easy, our room (though basic) was clean and had nice, firm beds. The shower spray and pressure could have been better, and I would have liked to have seen dispensers for the shampoo etc. rather than the single use containers.The complimentary breakfast was good and included both hot/cold items with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, cinnamon French toast sticks, breads/cereals/pastries, yogurt, bananas, juice/coffee/tea.Rate was certainly fair, compared to other properties in the area, and we were happy to return and get a good night's sleep this time!
