    Westin never disappoints

    rating09 Jun 2026

I stayed here for 11 nights in May 2026 and the entire length of stay was wonderful. Although they did not have the room upgrade I requested, I was given a water view room on a higher floor that was very nice. The daily room service made sure there was a clean well made bed to come back to after a long work day. The room did not have a mini refrigerator, because they have a mini bar instead, which I did not use. The cafe and restaurant downstairs were both really good! The lobby floor has a very inviting feel to it. Parking is expensive, but then it is Seattle downtown. Marriott Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Seattle, responded to this review We are thrilled to hear you found renewal and ease during your visit. We are glad you liked your relaxing accommodations and the stunning views of the water. We also appreciate you acknowledging the hard work of our housekeeping team. Their commitment to maintaining pristine conditions is something we take great pride in, and we will enjoy sharing your compliments with them. It is especially nice that you loved our Relish Bistro and 1900 FIFTH Bar + Lounge. We are particularly delighted that you enjoyed our beautiful lobby. Thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Westin Seattle. We cannot wait to welcome you back for another memorable experience.Be Well,Chelsea OstovarpourSenior Rooms Operations Manager

A very nice hotel minutes walk from the Pier and Pike's Market

    rating06 Jun 2026

Was here 10 years ago for a conference and now in May. Front desk can be busy during peak hours. Staff very friendly. Breakfast ... just order the buffet it is easier, and all Marriot Hotels do this. In the bar it is spacious very business friendly. Rooms for conference very good and conference area is large. Rooms are very comfortable. Two towers N and S, heard from others and no real difference between the two. Concierge (female) is over the top with information, directions and just overall friendliness. 50$ flat fee return to airport at SeaTac. Convenient downtown hotel with great views

    rating26 May 2026

We had a local staycation at the Westin over Memorial Day weekend. Despite showing up around 1pm, a room was ready for us. We booked city view but had nice partial water views including a glimpse of the Great Wheel. The hotel was very busy with cruise ship passengers, but staff maintained composure and service despite the crowds. Room was spacious enough, beds were doubles which is less ideal than aueens but we made it work. Location is unbeatable, steps to the Westlake light rail and monorail station and near anything you could need downtown. Only real negative is the “destination fee” of approx $27. They give you $22 back in dining credit if you use it, but food is quite expensive ($40 for breakfast buffet, cocktails nearly $20) and we ate off site. The bike rentals or Argosy tour is only for 2 and we had a party of 4. I’d prefer if the cost of doing business was just included in the room rate. Marriott Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Seattle, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are glad we could honor your early check-in request and the spectacular views. It is also nice that you loved our spacious accommodations and proximity to the monorail. However, we regret your dissatisfaction with our destination fees. We want every guest to have an excellent hotel experience; therefore, we are grateful for the feedback. Thank you for choosing The Westin Seattle for your staycation. We look forward to providing another uplifting visit in the future.Be Well,Chelsea OstovarpourSenior Rooms Operations Manager

Excellent located hotel with a superb management

    rating25 May 2026

The hotel itself has an excellent downtown location and is very convenient for exploring Seattle. The property has a beautiful lobby and bar area, an indoor heated pool, and beautiful twin towers that give the hotel a grand tall presence and a distinct character. Our stay at the hotel had a few issues initially, and things did not start exactly as we had hoped. However, what really stood out was how the hotel team handled the situation once the issues were shared. The team made sincere efforts to improve things, and those efforts were noticed and appreciated. We were also upgraded to an accommodation with beautiful views, which made the remainder of our Seattle stay much more enjoyable.Chelsea, Senior Rooms Operations Manager, was professional, responsive and genuinely helpful throughout. We also appreciated that Reagen, Operations Director, personally reached out, which showed that guest experience and satisfaction were being taken seriously.A special mention as well to Mr. Juneja, General Manager, under whose supervision the team demonstrated professionalism and commitment towards guest experience. No hotel stay is perfect, but what matters is how concerns are handled, and in that regard the leadership team showed professionalism and a willingness to make things right.Thank you to Chelsea, Reagen, Mr. Juneja and the wider team at The Westin Seattle for making our family trip a memorable one. Marriott Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Seattle, responded to this review Dear Guest,Knowing your stay left you feeling restored and fulfilled means a lot to us. I love knowing how pleased you were with our location and appreciated the easy access to Pike Place Market, Nordstrom, and Seattle Convention Center. Whether you are headed to T-Mobile Park to see the Mariners play, going to cheer the Sounders or Seahawks at Lumen Field, or hopping on the iconic monorail to catch the Kraken or Storm at Climate Pledge Arena, we are in the center of the action. It is also wonderful that you liked our inviting lobby, and your enjoyment of our thoughtful amenities means a great deal to us. I am especially happy you enjoyed your guestroom upgrade and the incredible views. However, I regret the issues you encountered during your stay. I am pleased that we were able to resolve this to your satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to providing genuine and attentive hospitality, and I appreciate you acknowledging their efforts. I will share your compliments with everyone. Thank you for the kind review of The Westin Seattle. I look forward to hosting you again in the future.Be Well,Chelsea OstovarpourSenior Rooms Operations Manager

Not even check in but already gotten rude staff

    rating23 May 2026

Very disappointed with our experience at The Westin Seattle. We arrived early and fully understood that check-in would only be available at 4PM. That was completely fine with us. We were advised to leave our backpacks at the luggage area while waiting. However, the service we received from one of the older gentlemen handling the luggage was shockingly rude and unprofessional. After serving the family before us, he looked at us and responded with a very hostile “What!” the moment we approached him. His tone and attitude were extremely disrespectful and unwelcoming. It honestly made us wonder whether this was racism towards Chinese guests or simply poor behaviour from certain staff members, because the treatment was completely unacceptable for a hotel carrying the Westin name and reputation.A hotel of this standard should ensure their staff are polite, respectful, welcoming, and properly trained in customer service — especially towards international guests. First impressions matter, and sadly this was one of the worst welcomes we’ve experienced. We travelled all the way here expecting hospitality and professionalism, not arrogance and disrespect. Very disappointing start to our stay. Marriott Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Seattle, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience. I am truly sorry to hear about the negative interaction you described upon arrival, particularly regarding the service you received from the team member at the luggage area. It is concerning that you felt disrespected and unwelcome, as no guest should feel this way during their stay. Your comments about first impressions and the importance of hospitality for international guests are important, and we recognize how this situation impacted your experience and your perception of the hotel. Please know your feedback has been heard. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.Be Well,Chelsea OstovarpourSenior Rooms Operations Manager
