  Well kept historic hotel with 1920's décor

  My wife and I were in town for a wedding and started our journey here at the Camlin hotel. Being in the Wyndham timeshare program we were able to exchange into the Camlin and we are so glad we did. The Camlin will be celebrating its 100 anniversary on October 31 2026. The Camlin has been restored to its original décor throughout including guest rooms. The Camlin offers an outside heated pool, mini exercise room, full kitchen where guest can cook their own meals with a dining area attached, courtyard with grill and laundry on site at no cost. Each unit has a micro wave, mini refrigerator and coffee maker. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings the resort GM gives an hour talk on the history of the Camlin and the many famous names that have stayed and entertained in the lobby. The talk is followed by a tour from top to bottom with detailed explanations of the rooms history(you won't believe the penthouse). The tour ends in the basement where you will see the many hidden storage areas for liquor during the prohibition years. The Camlin is a 9 block walk to Pikes Market, 5 blocks to the monorail and lite rail to the airport($3.00) and a block from the convention center. The employees are the friendliest and most helpful that I have ever met during my years of travel. Starting with a glass of wine-water-or can of soda. Romio's restaurant 2 blocks away see my review.

  Very nice room with comfortable bed. Swimming pool was a relief from the warm weather. Location was ok for us as not far from the train stations, bus stops & walking distance to eateries & shops. Staff were very friendly & helpful all the time.

  The resort was in a perfect location in Seattle just a short walk from the Warf area and other attractions. The old style feel with all the modern luxuries made it a great visit.   The minute my family and I entered the Camlin we were bombarded by timeshare staff. I find this extremely unwelcoming and aggravating. I found our room to be cramped with a closet so small a hobbit wouldn't be able to fit in it. There was no air conditioning which we understand it's an old building but it wound up being untypically warm in Seattle. I would say the best part of our stay was the location.   An historic place to stay in Seattle (celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2026). My hotel room was nicely appointed - seperate bedroom and living area, refrigerator and microwave, comfortable bed. Staff was helpful. A good location with easy access to the monorail and light rail.
