  Great location, clean room and public areas, pool, lobby, etc. Breakfast wasn't great but it's included. The front desk staff were so kind and more than accommodating. Great hidden gem!   Terrible!

  We have stayed at this property before but never again. I would not recommend this hotel. The room had a terrible smell as soon as we walked in, the carpet was stained and felt unclean, and the linens did not appear fresh or properly washed. Overall, the cleanliness was very disappointing and made for an uncomfortable stay.Not to mention the air conditioner did not cool the room.   Three Strikes and You Are Out!

  My wife and I stay here often. This trip we booked a suite on the 3rd floor with an ocean view. The first night shortly after arriving there was a knock at the door with a staff member accusing us of smoking. Neither of us smoke. The next night upon returning to the hotel he got on the elevator and it was broken. Luckily the door opened and we stepped out. We were greeted by an angry employee, front desk person, yelling at us for trying to use it. No sign, nobody watching the door. My wife was in a wheelchair. When I informed him this was unacceptable he snapped at me telling me it had to be reset. When I repeated this was unacceptable and I was the customer and did not appreciate him raising his voice to me he got louder and more angry. The elevator is broken and this is a frequent occurrence here, this makes 3 of the last 5 visits over a 2 year period. I had to literally drag my poor wife up to the 3rd floor. We won’t be back.   The Go To place in Vilano

  2 minutes walk to the sandy beach and no roads to cross. It's a park access so easy to get down to the beach. Hunt for shark teeth! The hotel is clean and quiet. The surrounding garden areas are beautiful. The king suite is very spacious and nicely decorated. The front desk staff are wonderful and breakfast is a great start to the day. Walk to fun restaurants, Publix, and some great local art shows. Avoid the St. Augustine Beach tourist hustle. This hotel got us hooked on Hampton several years ago and we have now stayed coast-to-coast across the country.   Hotel was exceptionally clean and all the staff were very friendly. JC, Desk Clerk gave recommendations for great eating, mostly away from tourist areas.
