Booked an Ocean View Room.
07 Jun 2026
Booked an Ocean View Room for 4 nights. The hotel did not explain there is a busy road in front of the hotel with traffic noise starting at 6:00 AM . The ocean is a away on the other side of the road. The rooms needed updating and has single pane windows.Nikky of the staff was very understanding as we checked out the next day and moved to another hotel.

Nice staff and room but a few issues.
30 May 2026
The sliding glass doors on the shower don't stay closed very well and water tends to get all over the bathroom floor. Only ate breakfast once but the coffee was very weak, sausage burnt, omelet overdone. Finally, I think charging for parking is ridiculous. MOST other hotels, including Hilton properties that I mostly stay in, do NOT charge for parking. LaDella Harper, General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn St Augustine-Historic District, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us.I am pleased to hear that you found our staff friendly and your room comfortable. However, I sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your visit.I appreciate you bringing the shower door to our attention. We understand how frustrating it can be when the doors do not stay closed properly, resulting in water on the bathroom floor. Our maintenance team will inspect and address this issue.I also apologize that your breakfast did not meet your expectations. Weak coffee, overcooked eggs, and burnt sausage are certainly not the quality we strive to provide. Your comments have been shared with our Food & Beverage team so we can review our preparation and quality standards.Regarding parking, I understand your frustration. While many hotels in other locations offer complimentary parking, most properties in the historic district of St. Augustine do charge for parking due to the limited availability in the area. We work to keep our parking fee as competitive and reasonable as possible compared to neighboring hotels.Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience during a future visit.
