    Great stay!

    rating24 Aug 2026

I stayed here for one night before a business meeting in NY. The hotel is lovely, the decor is gorgeous. The complimentary coffee and breakfast in the morning was very welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The gym is great, and the fourth floor outdoor space is lovely. The small store next to reception is handy for snacks and drinks. I didn’t get a chance to try Siena, but the menu looked fantastic. The reception staff were very welcoming and engaging. My only recommendations would be to add a water fountain / water bottle refill station by the coffee section, more trash cans (they filled up quickly), a sink to pour out juice/coffee/tea so people don’t throw liquid into the trash cans, and more clearly marked WiFi info in the lobby and rooms. My only complaint is that the rug/carpet in the room and in the hallway was so loud as you stepped on it, not sure if it was recently redone, or what material it is, but the noise was loud. The walls also appear to be a bit thin, I was surprised I could hear my neighbors.

    Lovely stay

Lovely stay at this hotel. Spacious, comfortable room and bathroom, great towels and bathrobe, and included continental breakfast steps above a chain hotel. Friendly staff.

    Totally satisfied

Great ambiance in the lobby. Loved the view upon entering the hotel, large windows with expansive greenery. The lobby furnishings were perfect for the setting. Even the entry area to the gym was special. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was just right and the price was right.

    Exceeds expectations!

    rating20 Jul 2026

Based on the price I expected an experience similar to a Hampton Inn. The Watershed far exceeded those expectations. The decor and ambiance are closer to a Four Seasons and the service of similar quality. The lobby room has giant windows overlooking a stream with rock walls. My large bedroom had the same view. Like living in a treehouse with a giant TV , comfortable bed, made with quality linens. I travel extensively and the closest to the Watershed is the Hotel Vermont in Burlington. However it is far more expensive. If you have any reason to need a hotel in Fairfield County try to book here.Although I didn’t get to try the restaurant my son who lives nearby tells me it’s excellent.Thank you Watershed for a very pleasant experience.

    Better than chain hotels

Clean and comfortable, unique decor, not like standard typical hotel chains. Great roof deck for relaxing and reading. Spacious room. Great towels. Super staff!
