  Well it’s almost 5 pm and check in was 4pm. They charge you a ridiculous amount of money to stay here but when you get here you can’t check in at the time you are scheduled to. My family and I have been waiting in the lobby since 3pm. We flew in from Texas. This is absolutely ridiculous and they dont care one bit. Stay somewhere else it’s not worth it.   Don’t waste your time, pool closed, hot tubs cold, no gas in BBQ for outdoor cooking, elevator not working, game room closed, road horrible, never addressed the problem in the room we reported, simply horrible.

  Two of us stayed 6 nights in a one bedroom, two bath suite with kitchenette. Although the outside of the hotel and the public spaces are outdated we found the room itself more spacious than many similar rooms at other hotels. The room was clean and very functional. My husband uses a walker and we did find getting in and out and around the hotel a bit awkward but possible. Our room had a nice view of the Yampa River valley.

  We stayed Monday - Friday and enjoyed our stay. We brought a mini golden-doodle with us. We stayed in room 412. We had a 1 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms , 2 story condo. We both work remotely and it worked out well as there was a small desk in the bedroom upstairs and the second person could work downstairs at the dining table. Internet was great. We both had several video calls throughout the week and no glitches. Everything was extremely clean. The hotel is older but very clean. The indoor pool was clean, they had 2 indoor hot tub that were clean and hot. We did not use the gym or game room. They have free washer and dryers that we did use our last day. No complaints. It’s not the Ritz but then again…we didn’t pay for the Ritz.

  The staff is courteous and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant; however, it is apparent that the owners do not care much about maintaining the resort. The parking lot and resort road are nothing but potholes, and the furnishings are dated and worn. The units have a small kitchen; however, the equipment needed to cook is falling apart or is pretty much useless.
