I booked a ten-night stay at this property for August 2026.I had to leave the hotel two days early due to health issues. I discussed the matter with the reception staff but was advised to contact the manager. Although I wrote to him twice, I never received a reply.Consequently, I checked out two days early, informing the reception staff that I had received no response from the manager. The staff apologized and assured me they would contact the manager to find a solution; they also confirmed that I would not be charged the "resort fee" for the final two days, given that I had not used the resort services.Having heard nothing from the manager, I realized I would obviously have to bear the cost of the two unused nights. In any case, all nights had already been paid for in advance.Having received no further communication, I noticed the charge on my credit card. I then requested an itemized bill and, to my surprise, found I had been charged for all the nights, including the resort fee. I filed a dispute through my credit card provider, which was upheld.I consider the manager's behavior to have been extremely rude and discourteous. He could have chosen to accept or reject my request, but he should have replied to me one way or the other. It is truly deplorable!The hotel asked for my feedback, and I described my terrible experience. I received a reply full of hypocrisy, to which I could not even respond, as it came from a "no-reply" email address. Accommodations were nice.

Overall, the FOLDS was a nice accommodation for a week. It was clean and well prepared. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, nothing lacking there. Parking was more than adequate. Although we did not use the upstairs game room, there was plenty of space for a large family to explore. The breakfast was lacking, however. It's offerings were inconsistent; it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast. A business center would have been a great addition too. Location was excellent!

The staff here are so friendly! It was a great stay, plenty of extra curriculars to do onsite. Great location! Comfortable beds! Very happy with this place!

While this is certainly not a 5 star resort, it is great for those of us who like to travel with our dogs. Nice size unit and a very convenient location to many things in Steamboat Springs.

The outside looked in poor shape but the rooms are all remodeled and look great and modern. Friendly staff, hot tub, quiet, and comfy beds, walkin showers. Many restaurants are within short drive. Full kitchen in unit grocery stores are end of street.
