    Pet Friendly? Think Again.

    One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The room was not properly clean, the air conditioning barely worked, and my husband spent the entire night sweating because the room never got cool enough. To make matters worse, the guests next door were loud all night, making it impossible to rest.The biggest disappointment was the situation with our dog, Niko. We specifically chose this hotel because it claimed to be pet-friendly. We wanted to enjoy this small but charming city, and if we couldn’t take with us everywhere, we expected to be able to leave him safely in the hotel room without being treated like a problem.Instead, after paying the pet fee, we were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Advertising yourself as pet-friendly means nothing if guests are made to feel guilty for traveling with their pets. If your hotel is not truly prepared to accommodate pets, then stop marketing it as pet-friendly.We came looking for comfort and left regretting our decision. This hotel was a complete disappointment, and we will never return.

    I had made a reservation to stay here while I was visiting family in the area. I arrived about 9 to a nice looking lobby and a very friendly person at the check in desk. I got checked in and she told me where to park. First issue was that my key card did not work. No problem. I went back to the front desk and she apologetically rekeyed my card. Walking into the room I was hit with a strong smell of cleaning products. I propped the door open and turned the fan on high to try to air it out. I went back to the car to get more luggage and when I got back I tried to identify the smell that the cleaning products were trying to mask. It was a dog smell. Looking around, I saw a lot of shed dog hair on and around the chair. Looking further, I saw a kibble of dog food under the chair. So that was the smell. I should have stopped looking, but I continued. The drywall was busted out where the bathroom door handle hit the wall. The floor behind the open bathroom door was clearly not cleaned or swept. I opened a bath towel to find a disgusting left over. Walls and door frames were nicked and chipped. I did not walk around without shoes. Luckily, the beds appeared clean and the linens were fresh. The breakfast was a joke. A few small muffins and yogurt. I decided on cold cereal and coffee. The coffee was lukewarm. I was scheduled to stay a second night but I cancelled when I checked out. I decided I would rather sleep on the clean floor at my family's house than spend another night in that smelly, dirty room, LOL! My advice is to stay somewhere else....or suck it up and stay with family or friends if you can.

    Don’t stay!

    This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel! The lobby was clean, service was wonderful! But as we entered our room, it had such a terrible smell, the AC was going so we immediately turned it off, the smell wasn’t as bad, but I think that’s because it wasn’t circulating any more, the floor was so dirty that our socks were brown. No carpet, that was okay, however the grit that was in the corners and cobwebs on the ceiling in one corner! If it hadn’t been late at night and us being exhausted from traveling all day, we would not have stayed. We left as soon as we woke up, didn’t shower because the towels had an odor. When we checked out we let the guy at the front desk know of the smell, he had absolutely no reaction, just said oh, okay. 😡. We choose to stay the night out of desperation but to not get any reasonable response was disappointing at the least.

    I stayed at the Quality Inn again, for the 3rd time. This time for 17 days, Nov 4th to Nov 21st. I obviously like this hotel; after all, I’ve spent 51 days there in total. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is always efficient and personable.This time, I want to shout out to desk clerk, Tina. I was there for facial surgery, and being I had to be careful about getting water on fresh stiches, I was concerned that I had been booked into a room with no tub, only a shower. (I had rooms with tubs on previous stays and didn’t realize there were rooms with only a shower so didn’t think to request a tub when I booked.) The morning after I checked in, I asked Tina if I could change rooms for one with a tub. The hotel was fully booked, so it looked like it might be a problem. However, within an hour, Tina found me a room where a guest had just checked out and booked me into that room. Yay, Tina!

    I am very dissatisfied with the hotel service. It is the second year that I arrived at the hotel and they told me that my reservation was cancelled. I received an email the day before with the confirmation and when it arrived they told me that it was canceled and the person at the front of the hotel was very rude and never tried to help me resolve the situation Me
