    I stay at this location and a former worker named zay told me very rudely that I can not "hangout" in the lobby then said he would make sure I get kicked out...very rude when I live in this neighborhood and and have free time

    Internet is dreadful

    Recently, this hotel changed owners. The old staff were very understanding and accommodating but “upgrades”, like new internet - atrocious. Wi-Fi is inconsistent, stays off for hours. Previous internet had wired connections too, great for business on the go with laptops. Can’t do that now- no wired connections. Wi-Fi can take an hour or more to connect, expect to rely on your cellphone data hotspot a lot here!$$ prices higher now than Ext Stay America one block away and also higher than the Largo location (which was also once a Choice hotel brand as well). The signage on the front still hasn’t been changed, on the building or the marquee sign.

    Clean room but cockroaches …

    This hotel was recently sold so I was thankful the staff made an effort to switch my reservation over to the new ownership or it would have been cancelled. The front desk staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a kitchenette. The deadbolt would not lock. The smoke free room was not smoke free - strong smell of smoke. The lighting from the balcony kept the room fairly bright all night in spite of the curtains. Doors along the balcony banged all night. There were cockroaches. In spite of any concerns, there was security and I felt safe and comfortable in my room.

    Unfortunately, the room that I had was obviously a smoking room at one time because it reeked it was in the walls and there was no getting around it. The whole room just smelled like old nasty smoke from cigarettes and I really didn’t appreciate it one bit. It’s really too bad it’s not a bad place. Unfortunately, The room was actually horrifying. as I was saying the actual place isn’t that bad unfortunately, even though the rooms are posted to be non-smoking, you can tell they have been smoking so I definitely don’t recommend this place not if you are allergic to cigarette smoke

    Great Extended Stay

    This is a great place if you are staying in the Tampa area for many weeks. First off, the staff is very friendly and helpful and will do their best to help. The motel has been renovated to include new floors and the mattresses are comfortable. Major roads and Interstates are readily accessible also. Local businesses have almost everything you need. Rooms have an adequate cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave but you will need to secure your own cooking utensils. Cleaning service is optional but you may exchange towels everyday as needed. We have stayed here many times and will continue staying here every time we visit Tampa
