    Built in the 1940s or so. Was probably very good then, but not yet updated. They are building something now, so should be better in a year or so

    Clean. Nice view. Check in and out very easy. Has a great bar/restaurant “attached” that was friendly and fun! The food was great. Cara, the bartender was so great! She enhanced our time, along with some new friends, an amazingly fun night!

    Loved the sunsets on the marina while enjoying the bar/restaurant on site. Walking distance to the Manatee Center. Last chance to experience old Florida before the new hotel building is completed.

    The hotel is in a poor state of repair, the rooms don’t feel like they have been updated since the 70’s. Half the hotel was destroyed in the hurricanes during the winter and being rebuilt from the ground up, what remains is very tired. The rooms are clean, but so outdated they can take their pensions. There is a nice bar/restaurant on site that is popular with the local. To be 100% honest, the view from the room deserves a 5 out of 5, but the rooms would only get 1 out of 5. If you are only looking for a place to sleep this is OK, but a 5 star resort it is not!
