    Susan the manger don’t have hospitality .. I been living at the hotel about 5 months due to work , I’m from LA ,but today she didn’t want give me weekly rate price she wanted me to pay more for some reason , I already had paid the weekly rate soo unprofessional & its it to be very inconvenience for me Yash Patel, General Manager at Best Western Texas City I-45, responded to this review I understand you are disappointed during your recent stay, although we do not like fabrication online, you were not here for 5 months prior to your stay, and the weekly rate is offered by hotel and can be offered whenever the hotel wishes, so any further communication on this matter please call me directly!

    Within 30 mins of Galveston Seawall and Less than 10mins from Outlet Mall. EASY Access to 45 and within minutes of resturants, Walmart and Target. The hotel looks to be having repairs done which definitely is a positive. The room we were in was clean and good. Staff attentive to request for room change request do to missing remote for TV. And hotel was priced well in comparison to other hotels in the area. Only disappointment was the hotel wouldn't price match lower price found hours after booking.     We stayed here February 13, 2026 prior to our cruise. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Our room was clean and smelled wonderful.Breakfast was good.We will be staying here again in October for our next cruise!     We recently stayed one night at this BW in TX City to catch our cruise ship out of Galveston the next day.The person at the desk was not very friendly nor welcoming. The entrance area looked really nice, like in the picture on their website. Our room looked clean at first glance, but it was not. I found a large hairball next to the TV stand, corners were not swept or mopped.The bathroom was not clean either. The bathtub needed to be replaced or at least refurbished, floors were cleaned in the center part only.The breakfast was poor, even the setting on the waffle maker was wrong and they came out undercooked. We stuck to eating yoghurt and a banana to be safe.Needless to say that we will not stay there again!!
