A very good choice for a no frills stay.

A very good in-expensive choice! We stayed here to cruise the following day. It was located about 5 min to our cruise parking that we pre-booked in Galveston. No frills (as far as amenities go) but safe area, great parking, clean room with grab and go breakfast! Employees were super friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. There’s a shopping center across the street with a dollar tree and an excellent Mexican restaurant and a gas station/convenience store nearby. I read other reviews that said the area was noisy, but we did not experience that. Overall great stay, we would stay here again.

Super a best vacation day before your trip

I just want to say how helpful Miss Ona was when we checked in to our hotel here in Texas City. She is a super sweet lady that helped us when we needed a room to stay at the last minute. we were very pleased with how clean the rooms were how friendly the staff is and the price of the room is outstanding. The location is great to where we need to be to go to Galveston on our seven day cruise. I just want to say how wonderful the lady at the check-in Miss Ona was she has made our vacation start off with a bang. And the location is great. We have everything that we need in the vicinity. If we want to go find something to eat go to asports bar grab something at a store or even just a cold beer before we go to bed. An easy access to get back on the highway straight to Galveston. Thank you for our wonderful day here at super eight in Texas City.

A 'okay' stay.

Bed was comfortable, TV, mini-fridge, and microwave all worked well. Room needs a fresh coat of paint, especially baseboards. Room had a 'doggy' odor -- perhaps a previous occupant? (Fortunately, although not traveling with a pet, we frequently have one at our home, so we're familiar with that smell.)Breakfast adequate but not many choices. Road in front under construction.

Very friendly people and room wascvery spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We were in a smoking room which made nice not having to go outside

Front desk guy was nice. Room was clean, bathroom was spotless and all smelled good, no moldy or smoky smell. Ac works great! Not super quiet since its close to the frwy but it didn't bother me. The bed was ok, it didnt make my back hurt but had my hips hurting so I tossed and turned all night= didnt sleep well. Price was reasonable compared to everything else. Breakfast included is light=, banana yogurt, granola the simple things but hey it's something. Oh and not 1 bug in site!!! Pleasant stay, Would stay again.
