    Room was clean and comfortable. Had all the helpful amenities-hair dryer, ironing board, refrigerator and coffee maker. On the down side, I stayed two nights and they did not make the bed or refresh the linens after the first night. I know this is now the policy at some hotels, but I did not see a warning or posting anywhere regarding this policy. There is a Dennys within walking distance and the staff was friendly and helpful.     Good value - clean room, friendly staff.

    Very good value. I'll likely stay here again. Small room but comfortable bed, decent fridge, decent shower. I was on the 4th floor but they had luggage carts that made it easy to bring up all the things I didn't want to leave in the car. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish they'd had a coffee pot in the room (I like to drink coffee as I dress not have to dress, go to the lobby for my coffee and then come back up), but for the price that's a quibble. If I'd been on a lower floor I'd have wished for sheer curtains in addition to the thick ones so I could get privacy and daylight, but on the 4th fl less of an issue.     I was charged and I didn't even stay here I'm still trying to get a refund to this day absolutely worse customer service.     Pleasantly surprised by my last-minute stay!

    I enjoyed my stay at the red roof Inn. The hotel was a decent two star hotel. It had free coffee and my room was clean and neat. A nice surprise was that pets stay free! They just have to be declared at check-in.What really stood out for me, however, was the overnight desk clerk. Rene was very friendly, and I was impressed that he was able to check me in and get me situated and guide me to where I should park while carrying on a pleasant conversation. I love that he seems to enjoy his job and was so friendly even though he is the late night/overnight desk clerk. (I’ve encountered quite a few grumpy ones.) I knew he had a couple people in line at the desk when I went up to my room, but when I called down to ask for a wake up call, he remembered my first name and said he would make sure to write it down in case the system didn’t record my request properly. Efficient and friendly. He made my night!     Horrible experience! Toilets overflowed in two of our rooms. Tried calling front desk from both rooms for help no answer ever finally walked down to the desk to get a plunger/help to which there was a girl just sitting there on her phone. Not busy at all and ignoring incoming calls. Ceiling in one room was patched up.
