  We had a one bedroom unit which had a large living room and decent kitchen. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom had both a tub and a separate shower stall. Resort location was just a few miles from downtown Tucson and convenient to a number of area attractions.

  Golf Suites at Starr Pass

  We were here in March 2026 and really enjoyed our time at the resort. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful. If you need anything, really just ask.We played Gambler and Pioneer twice and loved them. They are true desert courses and ones that you need to hit the correct spot and not just blast away. We had a two bedroom unit that was spacious and fully stocked. We made use of the workout room and pool each day. We ate at the Creosote-Sonoran Kitchen and Cocktails at the resort three times. Our favorites were the Chicken Tinga Tacos, The Smashed Burger and the Firebird. The location of the resort made it easy to visit places all over Tucson. We went up to the the Catalina Foothills for dinner at Tavolino Ristorante Italiano. Then we drove down to Tubac for lunch and artist colony. We also found it an easy trip to Sewailo golf course and Charron Vineyards. If your looking for a less expensive meal try Daisy Mae's Steakhouse. It is a five minute drive from the resort serving fall off the bone ribs and flavorful steaks.All in all we highly recommend this resort and will most certainly be returning for another great vacation.

  a very nice place in the desert

  Overall, it is a great place to stay. I had some issues with security, and it was addressed. There are no chains on the door so anyone with a key, like a maintainance person with a key can walk right in. It happened to me. I did get an apology.

  Great renovated unit but resort renovation in process.

  Stayed in a newly updated one bedroom suite that was very nicely decorated and very spacious. One story building was very quiet. Parking was convenient to our unit. The kitchen had new grey painted Kraftmaid cabinets with self closing doors. Loved having a gas range. Flooring was new in the bathroom and there was an attractive glass shower and a spacious double sink vanity. Bedroom was updated and the bed was comfortable.Unfortunately the resort itself was undergoing renovation and the only amenity available was the heated outdoor pool. Most of the week we were there was too cool to use the pool. The hot tub was supposed to open midweek but that didn't happen. The resort is on a golf course and the club house was closed for renovation as was the resaurant.

  Not what we expected.

  Pretty disappointed this trip. We stayed here last year and were pleased so we booked for this year. Though we did book through a third party, it was not a one bedroom but instead a small hotel room with a mini fridge and a microwave. They do not have laundry, or ice machines and due to renovations no restaurant or hot tub. Their excuse was it was a busy time of year. So why renovate in your busy time? Also, staff will not come into your room to replace dishes or towels until you leave. You must be present for those services. Parking is a nightmare
