    Pretty disappointed with my brief stay at the Yoakum,Texas Yoyo Motel.Phone didn't work, the television went off a couple of times, i couldn't get the entry door open at one point. When i used my cell phone to contact the front office to come open the door,they didn't answer the phone. Had to call corporate to get front desk. That happened 4 times. And then the morning i was to check out, i was awakened by a commotion outside, looked out the window, a person was taken stuff out of the bed of my truck to beat on the vehicle next to mine. Called and the front desk didn't even know anything was going on. Asking me when, where and what. When i checked in at the front desk, i specifically asked if this place is safe and the person at the front desk assured me it was very safe that there were cameras everywhere. When i was leaving, i asked about that , the person's explanation was , we don't look at the cameras all the time. Several things were taken from my vehicle and destroyed. Fortunately nothing irreplaceable.And fortunately none of the individuals involved in that incident had a gun. Random act that could have happened at the local shopping mall or another hotel. Our reviews due state that our hotel is safe and clean and we do not have disturbances. Our cameras are recording 24 hours but they are there to review footage and cannot merely deter. The televison went off a couple times due to the weather since we have satellite tv service. The phone we checked and after your 2 night stay and was unplugged from the wall thus your room phone not working. The entry door was checked according to the front desk and was stated that the deadbolt wasn't turned all the way. We hope you can give us another chance and let our hotel make your stay more comfortable.

    We stayed at this hotel for two days while attending the Shinerbock 13.1/10k/3.1 series in november. It was formerly called Regency Inn in 2018. Rooms go for about 80.00 a night if your interested in the rates. IT's not the ritz but the staff was super cool and cleaning crew were on point. It's located across from some buildings that look slighty shady. Lots of things next to the hotel including a liqour store, mexican restaurant,etc. Overall, it's a great spot to visit if your in the area.Our cable had issues so we never used our tv while staying in the hotel. I saw that as a refreshing thing because it forced me to go out there and relax.     We were in town for a high school playoff game that our grandson was playing in, and stayed the night since we don’t like to drive 2 hours after dark and late at night. Room was satisfactory. Breakfast was good, coffee was good too.

    I was their with work a bit back, stayed a few weeks, awesome, great big rooms~very clean, great handy Landry machine, nice location, and a cool off handy pool, the owner was very helpful and friendly, better than some hotels i have stayed in throughout Europe. Good value for your dollar, and shops and eating places nearby. Whats not to like, recommend it, Thanks

    I stayed here and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable. However the fitness center was lacking. They didn't even have a treadmill. My stay was good just need to update fitness center
