We went to the beach to whale watch, do the zoo and aquarium, and watch the jets. The weather didn’t work for us to whale watch, but thr zoo and aquarium were great.Went to Oceana NAS to watch the jets land and take off. Went found out that we could see them from our balcony.

Average hotel with water pressure issues

Average hotel that offers an economic "studio" room. The room is compact with a standard bed, kitchenette (with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, silverware and dishes), short kitchen island with 2 bar stools and a very deep bath tub in the bathroom. (People with mobility issues might struggle getting in and out of the tub, even with the handy grab bar.) Given the low water pressure, wait times for a bath would be lengthy. Long wait times for hot water were common at the bathroom sink. The room had a view of the parking lot. All room entrances are indoors. A fitness center with more equipment than many and an indoor pool round out the amenities. The on site restaurant was closed for the xmas holidays. Helpful phone charger on the night stand. Clean and tidy room and hotel public areas. The room lacks any kind of upholstored chair for reading or watchng TV. Room WiFi worked fine.

Comfortable, restful accommodations!! Staff at the front desk, operations/ maintenance and housekeeping were all personable and professional during all our experiences. Great location. General manager must lead by example as all employees are cordial and helpful. Great choice for a fun beach front location!!

Shame but not worth a visit

The staff were so friendly, which is the only saving grace, but the stay overall was pretty terrible. Based on the fact it’s a hotel and the main reason is to sleep, we got zero sleep due to the noise. We were put in the top corner of the hotel, which was clearly in the staff area and the whole night doors were slamming and people were talking directly outside our room. From 10pm through til 4am.The room itself was ok, a bit tired and worn out, with some big bugs in the bathroom, but manageable, apart from the noise. Bed wasn’t that comfortable and the tv was at a weird angle so one side of the bed couldn’t see it.Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here- but as I said, the staff were super friendly.

Amazing and Convenient

Our stay exceeded our expectation. Staff went above and beyond and made us feel welcomed and important throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, with more amazing views. The restaurant downstairs and easy access to other shops and restaurants couldn’t be beat. We hope to stay here again.
