One of the nicest luxurious hotel we have stayed in. Wonderful courteous desk staff. Gorgeous lobby. Beautiful large clean modern rooms. Every amenity you need. Slept Wonderful. Views and area are beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic all scratch food no rubber eggs! Staff in Breakfast area excellent. Wonderland. We were in a holiday inn up the road that should be condemned and Crown Plaza was able to get our group rooms. This property is managed properly. Good location
24 Feb 2026
The location of this hotel to the University of Maryland is excellent and it is not in a busy area and easy to get to. However, there were multiple large stains on the carpet and even though the room had 2 queens, and the reservation listed 3 guests - there were only 2 towels. The light on the bed was broken. The bathroom was not cleaned well and a bar of soap in a box the previous guest used was still in the shower. We did have a breakfast voucher and the breakfast was good and the staff that worked there was wonderful. Strongly recommend the hotel replace the carpet with a wood product. Due to the cleanliness, we will likely not stay here again. Soci Assist, Other at Crowne Plaza College Park - Washington DC, responded to this review Hi cma20,Thank you for sharing your experience. Overall, a good experience.

Overall, a good experience. Unless, you pay for breakfast when booking, to geta breakfast voucher. There is a $19.99 fee for breakfast buffet. The room was clean. Towels were clean and stain free. My room wasn't serviced, yet maybe because I only stayed two nights.Great views from the upper floors. Plaza is close to parkways for visitors to travel to get to their tourist destination.
