    Customer service training

    rating18 May 2026

am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Largo/Washington from May 16-18, 2026.Throughout my stay, I experienced a consistent lack of customer service that fell far below the standards I expect from Hilton properties. Staff members did not greet guests, acknowledge us, or make any effort to create a welcoming environment. The level of disengagement was surprising and disheartening. To be candid, the customer service at this location was so poor that it left a lasting negative impression. The team at this property would greatly benefit from comprehensive customer service training. As a point of comparison, the level of courtesy and attentiveness shown by Chick-fil-A employees is the kind of standard I believe this hotel should strive for.I left feeling disappointed and certain that I would not return to this property. I truly hope management will take steps to address these issues, including training staff on how to greet guests, communicate respectfully, and create a positive experience.Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience at this location.

    Amazing Experience.

We took our men's collegiate soccer team to the MD/DC area for a three day trip and can not say enough at how well we were treated by the staff....especially Mr. Akili Henney. He went out of his way to make us feel like we were his top priority. From checking in on us over the phone on a daily basis to doing just the little personal touches....he made us feel like family. If he treats a group of 30 like this I can only imagine how well he treats individual families.

    The “Fallen-Tree” hotel chain

    rating18 Jul 2025

It irritates me that these less than mediocre hotels camouflage themselves under a well known name … a name that was once associated with quality .. Hilton .. contain any quality whatsoever. Sad that the “hospitality” branch in our society has fallen into such a dismal state generally speaking unless you are paying an exuberant amount of money and even then there are no guarantees. Doubletree (where did they find that name 🤷‍♂️) .. more like “Fallen-Tree” .. is in desperate need of help. Attendants at the front desk are kids who barely know how to do math … the “help” are all immigrants who speak VERY LITTLE English if any … and the surroundings need repair. Do not recommend staying here for the price they charge. There are many more options out there.

    Big name with poor quality!!!!

    rating27 Mar 2025

I usually do not leave reviews, but after what my family experienced I must. When arriving to hotel front desk staff was pleasant. As we checked in and went to our room in the bathroom, tub had hair in it and on the sink. But I always clean the bathroom in any hotel I stay in so I was not concerned as I had hair and makeup to get done for a wedding reception. Also the dresser drawer could have easily harmed some one in my room as it would not close shut and I am sure the hotel was aware already. The very next day my family wanted to head back home early as we had a 3 hour drive back. My son and husband decided that they would grab breakfast and go but to there surprise they couldn’t understand why they were being stalked by breakfast lady. Upon walking out she approached them in a disrespectful manner and asked what room were they residing and my husband told her and left out still not knowing what we later found out. I was upset about it and decided to reach out and ended up speaking to Akili whom made sure that he had a loop hole to not be held responsible for this employee’s rudeness to my family and that he would reach out after speaking to the Manager and believe it or not this guy did not. But I’m confused to when do you speak with a sales rep and not the manager? Mr Akili then goes on to tell me that we did not have breakfast included in our stay so this is how I found out and this was his loop hole. I must say that this place don’t care about there customers not one bit. The coffee area had empty creamer containers and there is rarely any employees in sight. The young man at the bar had the best customer service and the girl at the front desk with the piercings in her nose was nice that is it. The only recommendation I would give is to please start reiterating that breakfast is a fee. That way no one goes through what my husband and son went through being this was a group and I did not set any of it up. I will not be staying in this hotel again!

    Don’t come!

    rating23 Mar 2025

Absolutely horrible! We came for a soccer tournament. The hotel hosted numerous teams and they were rude and not accommodating at all! I’m not sure why you agree to host several soccer teams when the staff yelled at the kids the entire time we were there! There is nowhere for the kids to even hang out together. They just yelled at us every time we were in the lobby, etc. if you’re going as a group, DO NOT!!!
