    Beware of barking dogs

    The hotel is located next to a large dog kennel. At 5am you awake to barking dogs. I called to find out why I was seeing more than the room charge on my credit card. I was told it was a 25% security hold and it would eventually be removed from my credit card. (We are a senior couple with no intention of damaging the room)

    Great hotel for our short trip. Good and safe location near tons of restaurants and shops. You can walk to Red Robin. The room was clean, check in was friendly and efficient. Pool was not working (something with the pump I think)- wish we had known ahead of time because the kids were looking forward to it after a long drive. Not a huge deal for a one night stay but if you're staying longer with kids then call ahead about the pool. Breakfast was standard and coffee was good. Overall, would definitely stay again.

    Unclean Sheets

    The beds were just covered over and not really changed. The sheets were a mess and the mattress pad had yellow stains on it. We asked for clean sheets which they gave us so that we could change the sheets ourselves. We were there for a funeral and very frustrated to not have a nice bed to sleep in. From now on, we will not be staying at any Holiday Inn Express anywhere.

    Overall the hotel was great, easy check in and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful I like that they ask you to wear gloves, my only complaints was the lack of clean tables both mornings for breakfast, there was no one cleaning tables and it's not my job to clean a table before I sit down for breakfast, and the coffee and hot water was either empty or cold by evening and I has to ask for hot. I did mention this on check out and was told it will be addressed so hopefully no more dirty tables. But all in all I would recommend and stay again. Handy for the mall, which is massive.

    Wonderful hotel in the Woodbridge area

    This hotel is our favorite in the area! The customer service is always wonderful here, and the hotel is modern and clean with a nice breakfast. The most impressive part of our stay was Iesha at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. Because of her, we have chosen to stay at the hotel several more times in the future. Her wonderful smile, and refreshing attitude make a dramatic impact on a family visit. Bravo to Iesha!!!
