A very nice room with plenty of space (though not a true suite with a separate bedroom) and the nicest hotel gym I’ve encountered in ages. Breakfast was free with a vouncher

Freezing in Alexandria

Came here for a reunion with old colleagues for a fun few days near D.C. The April temps were chilly, highs in the 50's daytime. The hotel had no heat and all the rooms had the air conditioning running full blast. The guest rooms were FREEZing. The staff at the desk did not have a clue. SOme of us asked for blankets to be able to sleep in the cold. The hotel made no announcement about the issue, did not even attempt to compensate guests for the terrible inconvenience and discomfort. This went on for three days. When asked, desk staff just shook their heads and said " oh I think they are working on it" Who? And when will it be fixed? Our group will seek compensation but come on Marriott - this is ridiculous

The staff was quite nice. Excellent gym. Nice location. Could use a little remodel, rooms need updating. Priced quite high for what you get.

Worst beds in the world do no come here

The beds here are harder than the floor and I’m not exaggerating. I slept on the floor because the beds are like sleeping on a solid rock. I barely slept because whoever designed these rooms forgot the most important part of a hotel room is the bed, because WHY? will never return and will actively tell people to avoid this place since they put more money into being fashionable than they do function. Do not use shuttle buses to this hotel the driver do not speak English and will leave you stranded at the wrong hotel .amd the staff will not be helpful.
