    Right off the Interstate

    The motel is located at an exit from I-81, one exit west of I-83, and is close to several restaurants. there is a stop light to help getting in and out. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I found the couch difficult to sit on as I kept sliding off, and wondered if this was because it was new and the cushions were stiff. My husband had not problem with the couch. The room was quiet, though I can't say if the rooms on the other side get interstate road noise. There was no problem with the air conditioner/heater. Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast and kept well supplied. The motel is currently undergoing renovations but this did not impact our stay.

    Clean comfortable room, excellent breakfast choices. Safe and quiet. More affordable than other hotels with the same ratings in the area.

    The Best Western Harrisburg North was wonderful! We were greeted by the most friendly and warm staff. The lobby was clean and they had a bubble decor which was real cool to watch. There was complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the light for any time you wanted it. Our room was clean, comfortable & smelled good. The beds and pillows were great! (Although the bed was a little high for me too get into, the night's sleep was great). The bathroom was large and the water pressure was very nice! There was a microwave, small refrigerator, iron, ironing board and blow dryer in the room, as well as a safe.Truly great experience and would definitely stay again.

    Worst stay ever! Booked 3 nights, paid with credit card points. Checked-in go to my room - get called backed to the desk. They want to charge my credit card. Told them the room is paid for. Ask me for I.D. again and credit card. Tried in vain to explain how the Capitol One Rewards program works. I'm dealing with the manager here. Says he'll look into it. (?) Now I've done this here before and all over the country-never a problem. Go out for the day, come back and I'm locked out of my room. Back to the front desk. Clerk asks me for identification again. Asks me if I had a different room before. Then says his manager informed him he needs to charge my card for the room. Here we go again. Told him the room has been paid for. Even after providing them with the email confirmation still would accept it as proof. Total of 4 trips to the desk to resolve this. The inept, incompetent front desk is a total clown show. The second day, someone just walks in my room. Apparently, he's the maid service coordinator. No call, no knock just unlocks the door and walks in. Ask me if need service, I say yes, come back later - no service. There are numerous hotels in that area. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. I would stay here again if it was free.
