Pleasant Staff, but Disappointing Room
21 Aug 2026
My father recently stayed here while visiting me, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My first impression was that the entire hotel is in need of renovation. The staff were pleasant, and the location is great, but the rooms are very dated and did not appear to be as clean as they should be.On his first night, he moved a tissue box in the bathroom and noticed a small black bug crawling across the sink. He then saw a few more of the same type of bugs in the bathtub. While it wasn’t an overwhelming number of bugs, it was certainly uncomfortable and concerning. My father was uncomfortable enough that he wanted to cancel his second night, but unfortunately, I would have been responsible for the payment. I wish he had thought to take pictures, but understandably, that wasn’t his first thought in the moment.Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not stay here again. The location and pleasant staff are positives, but the condition and cleanliness of the room need significant improvement

Good stay
20 Jun 2026
Good dog firendly hotel. Went here for my birthday to visit Sleepy hollow, only dog hotel in the area that seemed good. It actually was really good, only issue the rooms are a bit small, we had a king size room and I felt it should be bigger however room was clean, the hotel was clean. There is a bar and restaurant and starbucks so that was nice. Sleepy hollow about 30minute drive. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit sleepy hollow especially if they have a dog.

My stay was excellent, Joshua was very kind and welcoming and helpful with my partner, our baby and our many bags after a long drive from Virginia Beach. We didn’t get to enjoy much of the amenities because we were in town to see family so we only slept. But that first impression was everything so thank you Josh!
