    The Tarrytown House Estate is a wonderful find. We have stayed there countless times as the property/views/staff are amazing. Briana at the front desk greets us like we are family, Sam/Jake and Stefanie have been super supportive when we had special requests. So if you want an awesome place, great people, this is the place to stay. It is our go to place when we are traveling...................

    Used to love it, but now unlikely to return

    In the past my stays have been wonderful with nice rooms, fantastic service and a beautiful setting. Now it's a huge disappointment that I will no longer spend my money on. My spouse and I stayed this week for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary. We were placed in the Putnam area which is on the far end of the hotel. It is a long walk though a confusing maze of stairways and halls which offers very limited parking or amenities near the room. The only thing close by was the conference area and wedding venue which translates to additional noise during those events due to loud guests. The hotel is desperately in need of a refresh. Carpets are threadbare, rooms look dated, paint is peeling, pond areas are overgrown, and outdoor stairways in our area were moss covered and sagging.Good luck having housekeeping clean and restock your room as that is hit or miss and rarely happens before 4pm if at all. Guest service is sorely lacking with requests for things like toilet paper, disposable silverware, or extra towels ignored despite multiple requests.While the on site restaurant Goosefeather is top notch (that is the only part of the estate I would recommend), the tavern is permanently closed despite signage still advertising it. The only breakfast option offered is a $30 per person buffet in another building.Steer clear of Tarrytown House Estate as it was definitely NOT worth over $1000 for a 4 night stay. I would have recieved better service and amenities at a mid-range chain hotel for less money.I'm looking forward to checking out in the morning and never returning.

    The driveway up to the hotel is a hill. We had a room on the 300s floor, a few floors down. Lots of steps with suitcases. This was our second time staying here. It's an old building but the room was a good size, clean, and a good price in a good location.     Beautiful and Luxurious

    My husband and I had our wedding at the Tarrytown House Estate and stayed on the property for 3 nights along with our friends and family. We had a wonderful time - the property is beautiful and has lots of amenities to enjoy. All of the staff were very friendly and made our experience so pleasant. Our hotel room in the King Mansion felt particularly luxurious - the building has lots of character and our room was spacious with a balcony and view of the Hudson River.     Amazing place with amazing staff. Corrin made the experience that much better. Every person was so nice and wonderful!
