  NEVER BUY A TIMESHARE, ANY WHERE FROM ANY COMPANY!

  Mixed feelings: the unit was clean and comfortable; however, timeshare ownership is a huge scam. DO NOT BUY A TIMESHARE ANYWHERE FROM ANY COMPANY! There are too many hidden fees and disadvantageous policies which people are not told about. At this location guests are now being asked to take out their trash when they leave and take it all the way to the “trash room” on the first floor. This could mean people in their 70s and older or those with physical challenges being asked to take their trash bags down three floors. Is this what you expect as an owner or rental guest? What hotel asks guests to take out their trash? Next guests will be asked to launder their bed linens and towels before they leave. Taking out the trash has to be done before your 10:00 am checkout time, as well. Why is checkout so early if guests are being asked to do the housekeeping? There should be a class action suit by Wyndham timeshare owners!

  The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do. Great indoor and outdoor pool and our room was right around the corner! Very helpful and friendly staff.

  Great Location but Beware the Orientation Sales Pitch

  This was an exchange with RCI.s and our 2 br accommodations were very spacious The plus was the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom as opposed to a king was perfect for our family vacation... The Williamsburg location was extremely convenient to the Historic Triangle.. After checking in the only way we could receive our keys and go to our unit was to talk to a representative This involved scheduling an appointment to be updated on Club Wyndam. and Travel and Leisure's benefits.. We were told we might not be able to ever exchange here unless we went to a presentation and joined that travel program. We have been through other sales pitches with Diamond and Hilton exchanges pressuring people to join their Vacation Clubs. After traveling a long distance to arrive in Williamsburg, that was the last thing we would want to do on our vacation! By the way RCI is also owned by Travel and Leisure and maybe the availability of Wyndam resorts may be decreased, we will take that chance.

  We come to Governor's Green at least annually. Apart from the pressure to do a timeshare presentation, we thoroughly enjoy everything about it. It might be better for adults than for children if kids like a game room (in that case, go to Kingsgate), but there is plenty to do, whatever one's age.

  Nice resort but needs renovation. Activities are outstanding. Close to a lot of attractions. Family friendly.
