The hotel cabins are set back one quarter of a mile from the historic Yellowstone Hotel and Lake Yellowstone. Here, time past is captured in the shimmering reflections of lake-side mountains and enchanting stories of lumbering moose and fish too big to keep.

The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the bungalow complex provides various services and facilities, including a laundry service, a hairdresser, a conference room, a business centre and a coin-operated laundry. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests of the complex are welcome to relax in the garden. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park (no extra charge).

The rooms need a urgent change. If i know that the room was similar that I recive ( A29 ) i never reserved. I tried to change to other room but it was impossible.

Bleak. Poorly maintained, awful food, miserable location. Cabins are grim, nothing nice to look at. Nothing else to do and nowhere to go, other than using as a base for sightseeing in the park. Beyond geographical location, it’s freaking awful.

It is a you get what you pay for situation. The room was very old, tiny, and lacked charm, it was mostly clean, and seemed safe. we took advantage of the option of sitting on the porch at the lodge great view of lake and very relaxing. We didn't spend much time at the room and only ate breakfast one morning at the restaurant. food was ok, coffee was good, but expensive , they did have a gluten free option. If your not worried about ambience and just need a place to sleep cuz you will be out all day then it's fine if you are hoping for a nice place to hang out in the room then maybe look around for a better option. the yellow cabins near the hotel looked much better.

The positives. Location was beautiful. Our cabin was small but cute. The negatives, the canteen and its food was awful by both choice and taste. Do not waste your time or money. But know that there is nothing near by. We would travel during the day and eat out anywhere but there. A lovely restaurant on site would entice us to come back but purely based on the canteen and choices alone, we won’t be back. John behind the bar was lovely and inviting, enjoyed his company over a few drinks.

This is a clean, plain and simple state park type of place. The website describes it as facing the lake and mountains, nope. The people managing it are nice and it is clean but very simple rooms. Motel style. Parking lot had a lot of holes which made driving in a bit hard The description of a cafeteria is a bit off. They do have a set of menu choices like hot dogs, hamburgers, ready made salads, and sandwiches. It's OK not bad.
