Not the best!

Stayed for 1 night as part of our Yellowstone/Grand Teton road trip, it’s ideally situated for the Old Faithful geyser area, you can’t beat the location.Unfortunately it wasn't the best accommodation we stayed in, we had a Western Cabin, with 2 queen beds. The size was ok for 2 people, but it’s old & has seen better days, needs a good refurb! The WiFi was patchy, but worked.That said, it was clean, but with a few issues….pillows were awful, there was an alarm clock we found down the back of the nightstand when searching for a socket, the cable for the coffee maker didn’t reach, so had to move it to the sink area to use it & the higher up square window had no curtain, so we had to use a towel to block it to stop light & any potential ‘nosey neighbours’!Next door, the guy must have been a coach driver, it was parked outside his cabin, he got up about 6am, we heard every sound, throwing up/gagging, radio, getting ready, doors banging until he went out!We used the Snow Lodge Geyser Grill the night we were there, it filled a hole, that was it, quite dry & tasteless! We managed for 1 night, but for the price, you expect something better, but you should know from research, it is what it is, location only!

Comfortable, accessable to Grand Canyon features, but like all park lodging it is very pricey. Food service is terrible. Main dining room is crowded, slow, and incompetent. Burger bar is sad and food tasteless. Buy snacks in the park store and eat in your room.

We had a cabin at Old Faithful Snow Lodge which worked out very well. It was plenty large enough with a small kitchen, living area and bedroom with two queen beds. Plenty of room. The beds were not very comfortable but it was fine for the time we were there.

The place is filthy. We have been staying there for years and it keeps going downhill. Stuff spilled on bathroom walls that have dust over the top of it. Baseboards filthy. Top of fridge so dusty. Counter top edges grimy. Shower curtain covered with mildew and reeking. While thankfully they did change the shower curtain when requested they clearly could care less about the cleanliness of the rooms Place had become shabby and so many tour buses you can’t enjoy the amenities Unfortunately it’s centrally located in the park and easy to get to whereas if you stay in west Yellowstone you add an hour to drive just to start the journey thru the park.

We received the best service at this hotel. All of the staff were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. We didn't eat in the dining room, but the appetizers at the bar were delicious. The fast food type eatery (don't remember name) was just typical fast food! The room was large, clean and very inviting. Would definitely stay here again if we ever went back.
