  Standard, and do not expect more

  Oakhurst offers convenient and affordable hotels for Yosemite visitors. This place is a standard Holiday Inn Express but please do not expect more than that. It is clean with free breakfast and gym.- It seems understaffed. There were several times that I went to the front desk but nobody was present. The female receptionist finally came but not very helpful to me and kids. I guess she was too busy or not enthusiastic about the job (or discrimination? I don't know).- January is supposed to be relatively quiet, but breakfast area is full in early morning. You need to wait for open seats.- As a platinum elite, I was not offered any upgrade, although all suites were still on sale at midnight.There are three adjacent hotels from IHG, Marriot and Hilton. I guess they are similar, but next time I would probably try another place.   The hotel it self was okay. The breakfast was cold and no microwave to heat it. The hot water under the food not hot. I believe that it was cooked early in the morning and put into a Cambro Thermal warmer.   All mod cons..Microwave,fridge & coffee machine. modern feel to room with nice layout. Plastic cutlery at breakfast was a downer.Papers and leaflets in lobby was a nice touch.

  Decent accommodation but beware parking fees!

  Stayed in August as part of a family trip to Yosemite. We’d booked the 2 bedroom family suite which has two bedrooms and one bathroom, but no living area (which we knew). The room was clean, comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. No complaints. There is a small pool out the back which we didn’t use but looked fine.Breakfast was standard but had some warm options - very crowded and we were early. It felt like the space wasn’t really big enough for the size of the hotel.Be aware that this hotel charges $12 daily for parking. This was really disappointing-these types of hotels usually provide free parking, especially in the middle of nowhere. All of the three new properties (the Hampton inn, Fairfield inn and this hotel) all charge the same fee and I suspect they’re run by the same company.   This hotel was excellent. Staff was super friendly and accommodating to our requests. It is a modern, bright, and well maintained facility. Our room was spacious and comfortable as well as quiet.
