The lodge grounds offer a unique setting for relaxing walks amid a collection of hand carved bears. Guests can spend the day discovering Yosemite National Park, skiing at Badger Pass Ski Area, or visiting the California Mining and Mineral Museum in nearby Mariposa.

We were there for 2 nights. The WiFi was down for the entire time .Therefore. the T.V. did not offer anything more than the local news. Also, the bathroom faucet was broken. After a long process of contacting Booking.com. I was offered a measly $57.00 dollars as compensation for amenities that were not available. Additionally, the food is WAY overpriced. A burger and a patty melt with 2 fountain drinks was $55.00, yup, you read that right. My patty melt had siggy bread and overdone patty, way overdone. So, other than being close to Yosemite, they are not a choice that I would ever make again. Buyer beware.

Location is good. Close to central entrance gate. Quiet and family friendly. Room is old and not clean ( cockroaches). Bathroom is better than I expected. Shower head and water pressure are actually better than most old hotels.

Convenient but way overpriced.The on site restaurants couldn’t cope with the volume of people-I would stay in the park if possible.The WiFi was awful also as was air-con. Comfortable inn near the park with a pool

We spent one night before visiting Yosemite. The location is great. A pool was handy for the very hot August day. Dinner options were a bit limited which is a shame as we’d gladly have gone for something a bit more upscale. Pleasantly surprised

Was dreading this based on the previous reviews. However, was pleasantly surprised. Yes the room was a bit dated but it was clean and provided everything we needed. The pool was lovely and warm and big there was lots of free parking. The shop was reasonably priced and stocked everything that you might need in the communal area there was the ability to use a microwave and hot water. would recommend.
